When I do meatloaf, I do half ground beef, half sausage (if it’s just for me, it’s spicy sausage). Mom used oatmeal, Dad and I use Ritz cracker crumbs. Diced onion, maybe a little minced garlic and an egg.
okay, well i feel a bit embarrased. i filed a bug report for a quest, only to realize that said quest wasn’t broken at all. .-.
on a side note, after the day i’ve been having, i decided to say “sod it” and order a donair for dinner.
Is a donair a really light donut?
apparently its like a gyro from what i’ve heard. most Maritimers would attest, that the donair is their official food persay.
edit: 23 more lvls to go before i unlock the Kul Tiran heritage armor set…i didn’t think it’d be this difficult or troublesome, but dungeon queues have been excruciatingly painful as of late. i’m mostly queuing for those that i haven’t done, so i can do the quests for them. i’m also playing a druid, as that’s the highest Kul Tiran i’ve got atm, and figured he’s closer to 50 than my Hunter is…but my word, is this ever rough. .-.
You can do it. I have a few heritage armors just from questing. As I’ve gotten older dungeons aren’t my thing unless necessary.
I’d call it (and I think Tomten would as well) a doner kebab.
Edit - I’ve also just successfully tested the IPX8 rating of my earbuds by wearing them in the shower.
As in the Doner party? I’m not eating that.
I am going around the house closing windows. We have a few open just a bit for fresh air. 34 degrees is going to be a bit too fresh.
Vertically roasted meats.
Doner - Gyro – Shawarma
Doner
Doner Kebab is a traditional Turkish dish. It’s traditionally served inside a pide bread (similar to a pita bread but a bit thicker).
Traditionally the meat is strips of lamb and beef marinated in Turkish spices. It is complimented by slices of tomatoes, onions, lettuce and a special Turkish dressing. Doner Kebab is then roasted on a vertical rotisserie.
Gyro
Gyro is a traditional Greek dish. It’s made similar in nature to the Doner Kebab. Gyro is traditionally ground lamb and beef marinated in Greek spices. Raw white onions are usually part of the marinade. It’s also cooked on a vertical broiler. Similar to its Turkish cousin, it’s traditionally served inside pita bread and topped with taziki sauce (yogurt, cucumber and dill).
Shawarma
Shawarma is a traditional street food that can be found all over the Middle East and now in much of the rest of the world (used to be a really good place just off Yonge Street on Dundas in Toronto, but that was years ago). Traditionally Shawarma is made of beef marinated overnight in traditional Middle Eastern Spices, as few as 5 spices or as many as 15 depending on who’s making it. The raw beef is layered onto the spit and cooked on a vertical broiler. Shawarma is usually served in a Pita bread with Hummus, Middle Eastern salad and tahini sauce.
i’m not used to playing as a Druid, so its very difficult. ;-; and i can’t use premade groups till lvl 50. faceplant desk
is anyone doing quests anywhere at the moment, that would like to group up with me for a bit? ._.
Sigh, so the fan in my laptop is dying. It keeps trying to spin up so every few seconds I hear it do a quick whirring sound. This is gonna be fun til we can replace it.
And our standing freezer died in the middle of the night. I was unloading its contents at 3am trying to stuff all of it into our fridge freezer and the small chest freezer we have. Not sure of how much we are gonna end up having to throw away since those smaller freezers cannot continue to stay stuffed to the gills.
Totally been there before too. It’s heart-breaking when you know you need to toss stuff out
Maybe see if you can try some compressed air to blow out any dust etc. from the lappy to prolong it a little!
sweet and sour porkchops with rice and asparagus.
That actually sounds pretty good. Though green beans instead of asparagus because it’s what I have. Not sure if I want to sweet and sour the pork or not, though I do have a can of pineapple.
More on the sweet side but jsut as delicious.
ooooh, sounds good!
sigh getting real fed up with the “gogogo” mentality of randoms today. ._. a LOT of tanks are in such a rush to go through dungeons at breakneck speeds.
but…i got to lvl 35 today…another 15, and i’ll have done it. ;-; i’m hoping i can manage that for tomorrow, but with how dungeons have been so far? it’ll be painful…but i just want to unlock this and be done with it. >.<
/finishes his rant, and crawls into the pillow fort for the night
If you have a hordie, i have a baby sunwalker tank that I’m starting to work on. He’s only level 11 now. My BNet is Thundertotem#1365
Sigh…
All these delicious foodie talks, and I’m stuck here with my Campbell’s soup-to-gos because chewing freakin’ hurts.
On the (not so?) bright side? Infection seems to have migrated ears but has substantially lightened up. Fingers crossed for only two (to four, accounting for antibiotics) more days of this crud.
