Why do fast food companies put out online ordering apps that won't allow you to cancel an order? I placed an order to the wrong location, and immediately called them to inform them of my mistake and ask them to cancel the order. "We can't do that at the store level, you'll need to look at the app and see if there's a tech support number there that you can call. Have a good night.' *click*
Update - Submitted feedback in the app. Their 'senior technical team is working on' my issue. Was only ~$14, but so darn annoying.

He got it in Mum's handbag. As well as on himself, the floor, and somehow, the underneath of the table. It was pretty epic, in a gross way.

Yes, please.
Agreed. Problem is... I am the only one in the house that likes Brussel Sprouts. We went with corn.
My favorite is zucchini. Cut it in half long way, and core it. In the hollowed out area put some minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Then some cheese, we usually use a jack/cheddar mix. And on top of that some parm cheese. Not the powdered garbage haha.
Bake at 375 for 10 to 15 minutes. Yummay

Sounds like it was a bit on the thick side. Slid down the side and momentum kept it going even though it glued itself to the surface.
Usually, kids that age end up hitting one of their parents when they have a discharge like that.
Had he hit any key points on the body I would have given him a 2x modifier. Inside your bag? That's hard for older kids throwing straw wrappers. I'm giving him a 4x modifier!
:P
Happy weekend, folks!

Oof. I know it is extremely long odds, but here's hoping your new hire is actually competent and hard-working.

It feels like a full moon.
Going to be a long weekend *sigh*

Do me a favour and put yourself in their position. They're likely overwhelmed with the transition of working there. Just reassure them that questions are cool.11/09/2018 12:31 PMPosted by Mastadôn11/09/2018 10:44 AMPosted by EilethaluaHappy weekend, folks!

My now former place of employment made it so hostile that my heartrate would go up about 50 bpm just being with my supervisor. Ended up leaving because I was losing my hair and weight staying there.
Hope my fellow Californians are okay! So much smoke down where Im at (thankfully the fires are far out) but we been advised to not keep any windows open or let our pets out, as I was leaving LA their was a giant fire that broke out. Smells like one giant camp fire >.> hopefully non of you are in the danger zone!

Oh I am not worried about the new hire herself. She will thrive or fail based on her work ethic. She is doing great as of now.
No, it is more I have to do my job, the job of the person we are missing, AND train the new hire. All at the same time. I am already so on edge from the extra work. And then having to train as well.
We usually bring somebody in from another shift to train. But things at work are so bad in other departments, nobody wants to come in on the weekend anymore.
Damn Arthritis...all my joints hurt.
Had a good day, went with a friend of mine to a convention in Roundrock, Texas. He made out like a bandit, and I picked up a few things there too.

You made the right choice. They simply didn't deserve you ;)
My wife and I went to see an amazing performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show today. It was awesome!!! Such incredible talent. I haven't watched the movie in many years...might have to see if I can find a copy of it :)

Been babysitting newest grandbaby all day. She was a wee bit fussy today, but it was still fun spending time with her. She has started eating solid foods in addition to the milk, so she seems a lot hungrier now.
Now it is time for Nana to eat, lol. Too tired to cook, gonna scrounge for leftovers.
