so apparently there was someone compromising people’s PCs, encrypting their files, and then demanding money in order to return the files. The police identified him and were trying to arrest him, but they failed, because…he ransomware.
@Bluspacecow reminds me of seeing trees in the aftermath of Juan. a LOT of trees were ripped out of the ground from that storm.

21 hours later and I’m just about done.
Altough I’ve looked at the back of the fridge. There’s a thing that looks like the compressor and just above that is a little bucket thing with water in it.
Is it normal for that little bucket thingy to be almost completely frozen up ? As in there’s a solid block of ice there !

Christmas shopping almost done. Had to lean on the kids for their lists, and finally got them both yesterday. Forty-five minutes on Amazon, and I have gifts (on the way) for both kids, their significant others, one roommate, and even my ex-wife.
Daughter is hosting dinner and gift exchange Wednesday. Their mom (my ex-wife) will also be there, and I didn’t want to not get her anything, so a Bob Ross Funko Pop keychain (she paints, and I always enjoyed watching The Joy of Painting with her). I’m kinda feeling like I should get her something else; a keychain just seems like… not enough.
Now I just need to figure something out for the other two roommates.

The kids school got shut down last night due to a sharp rise in cases there, so it’s an early start to the Christmas holidays for us!
As of Monday I can try and book my booster and hope to have that under my belt before school reopens.

I had to fight the urge. It goes against EVERY fiber of my being.

I feel ya Kyzera, Hope that you get to feeling better soon. I got my booster the first week of November and wonder if they will recommend a fourth come spring.
