Reading that thread makes me question what goes on in some peoples’ minds to think it’s okay to publicly talk like that.
Sometimes i wish forums suspension included ingame suspensions for stuff like that.
Passes out popcorn to anyone that wants it.
Gonna be out of commission next week as I will be recovering from eye surgery. But I seriously looking forward to getting new peepers.
And hopefully, you’ll actually be able to see where you’re going.
Here’s to a speedy and uncomplicated recovery!
Just got a “Public Storm Warning Signal #1” on my phone. Because of course I need to be aware of a Tropical storm that will affect parts of the Philippines.
Umm… forewarned is forearmed? I guess… I dunno, I got nothin’.
For my part, I’m under a dense fog advisory for another 48 minutes, as well as a ‘severe storm risk’ and high wind warning until 6:00am CST tomorrow. Apparently there’s a fair chance of thunderstorms here in the midwest.
I think I’ve done that quest. The drop rate is poor.
It’s going to be in the mid 60’s, rainy and windy again. We have had our fair share of high winds this year. We had to put extra stakes in the Christmas decorations so they don’t go air born.
Well… I had a jumpy mind that didn’t let me stay in one game for long. Started with Batman: Arkham Knight, then some WoW, off to Stellaris (very good game BTW) before getting to dinner and Oak Island.
It’s 50 and extremely foggy from 22 floors up. Can barely see Orchestra Hall (across the street). We are expecting constantly gusting winds from 50mph and up through tonight with near 60 degrees before the storms hit tonight. A wind warning in December? After the storms? The temps are supposed to dive below freezing. Hopefully the wind blows the wetness from the roads.
Anyone else looking forward to the weekend? (I suppose I’m in indefinite weekend mode right now)
Stay safe everyone
PS. I saw you old man
Just got my booster
Came to the local Kroger to get it. They even gave me a goody
Now waiting on my before I head home and go to bed.
Sleeping it off is your best bet (along with Tylenol). I was pretty okay until about 24 hours after the booster, then all the usual stuff: fever, body aches, etc., but I still had energy. I just couldn’t sleep. When I finally did get to sleep, I managed to sleep straight through until morning. I was just a little achy this morning, but I’m fine now.
We had issues trying to find boosters. You hear they are available but you can’t seem to find them. We have boosters scheduled for 1/26. Fortunately we found some available on 12/24 just down the street. Once we get jabbed, we’ll cancel the other appointments.
My sister and I got our booster about a month ago and didn’t have really bad side effects like we did for the first and second shots where we had aches and pains that would come and go.
I’m glad you mentioned that I’m headed out to clean the gutters and put-up decorations and will do as you suggested and stake them down better this year.
Wind warning just kicked in. Wheee! At least we are not supposed to get what’s coming for the people on the other side of Lake Michigan. That is some scary stuff. December weather is so out of whack.
Made Korean meatloaf with homemade Korean bbq sauce. No leftovers. It feels nice when you make a complicated meal and people actually like it! Yesterday I made salmon chowder. That was a hit too.
I have summer sausage in the oven. 200° for eight hours, so low and slow. My place smells amazing!
And… Its my weekend.
Tomorrows forcast is sleep. Lots and lots of sleep. That is all.
Season finale of season 41 of survivor yay.
I love Salmon Chowder my late Father was the best cook in the house, I really loved his Oyster Stew too. Once he made a huge pot of Chili and all my family and friends raved about how it was the best Chili they had ever eaten but my Father was the type of cook that never wrote down what he put in while cooking and although he tried to duplicate it he never could make it the same ever again.
I miss my family…
I have like 5 recorded i have not watched yet lol
