Well this is brings up an interesting and true story.
Back in the '80s, a friend of mine wanted to go see a show. Some new band he was interested in. I didn’t know the band, nor did I care. He begged me to go. I finally caved when I convinced him to pay for everything that night.
We were at this little place called Blondie’s in Detroit. Just sitting at the bar. My friend disappeared for a few minutes and this fellow sat down next to me. We started chatting about this, that and the other thing. My friend returned in a very excited state. He kept pulling at my coat and I swung at him. I finished off my conversation with this other dude, who then left, and went for my beverage.
My friend asked if I knew who I was talking to. Of course I didn’t. Why would I? I’m at a dive in Detroit. Turns out this fellow my friend was excited about was the singer for A Flock of Seagulls. The whole reason for coming to the show. Mind you, this was before the video and they became well known.
That’s my touch with the band. There’s much more to the story that involves green polka-dotted rolling papers and a bartender, but we won’t go into that now.

My Hunter finally got her pet tamed from the Island Expeditions. Will have to admit that the pics on Petopia did not do it justice. Now at least I can start spamming Islands on other alts.

Well, I have a new roommate.
Her name is Bellatrix she’s got yellow eyes and black fur. She is currently hiding under my bed right now, adjusting to the new place. I have food and water out for her and a clean litter box.

6 months? More like decades… I found out this last week that lyrics in Hotel California say “Tiffany twisted”… I’ve always thought it said “definitely twisted”. I had to look up what Tiffany twisted meant. LOL

I always misquote lyrics to songs, The worst was the song by “Bruce Springsteen” where he sings 'Revved up like a deuce" and for years I thought he sang “Wrapped up like a douc**” LOL, I just found out by typing in the correct lyrics in a bing search that MANY people thought he was singing that way too!
Good to know that I wasn’t the only one in the world that thought that! LOL…

With a hotfix that has just gone live to all realms, Doomwalker now has a 100% chance to drop the Doomwalker Trophy Stand and the Illidari Doomhawk mount.
This is not retroactive, so player-characters who already killed Doomwalker today should expect to find success by trying again tomorrow.

I’ve also always mis-heard those lyrics.
I also have reworded “A girl in trouble is a temporary thing” to “A Girl in Trouble is an ordinary thing.” There are many more songs I’ve misquoted, but this forum does have some standards (Disco Pig notwithstanding).

The Springsteen original or the Manfred Mann cover?
Manfred Mann 's version (the one that charted) did sound like you heard it.
