I’ve been searching for a turkey brining bag. No luck. Last year it was cold enough that I brined the bird in a bucket in the garage. I’m not sure about the weather this year. I just discovered that the whole bird/bucket will fit in my mini beer fridge. Life is good. 
Some people are easily amused. 
One less thing to worry over.
Also, my son’s got a call from the place that gave them the vaccine. They said it’s time for their booster. Thing is, they are healthy and not over 65. I guess they want the money and don’t care if it’s approved or not.

I’ve read that the Delta spike in some states has led to a loosening of individuals’ requirements. Maybe that’s why?

I know that we’ve just received approval in Canada for a moderns booster for those 12+ as long as it’s been 6 months since your last shot.

I finally got my Junkyard Drifter on my EU account yesterday. And Sinrunner Blanchy on both accounts today. Now to figure out which class on my account actually ups the mount count.

We got our alert via Text Message for a Moderna booster shot being it has been 6 months for my sister and I and also we both have Diabetes and High Blood Pressure along with slight Obesity, We also got our Flu shot as well, Hopefully these shots will protect us until this Pandemic is over. Sadly the vaccine is only 95% effective so we both take Vitamin D supplements daily to boost our immune system.
Kids had a PD day from school on Friday so we took advantage of that to go get our flu shots. Now we’re waiting to see if Health Canada approves the C-19 vaccine for 5-12s too so that our kids can start getting vaccinated for that too!

The local university has a home football game today, and it’s their Veteran’s Day game, so they get a flyover. It got here early, so I had a B2 orbiting pretty much over/around my apartment for about ten minutes. Super cool to see.

My kids wanna do a Thanksgiving crab boil again this year. Between their ‘Friends-giving’ the week before, dinner here and at their SO’s parents, I think they just want something that isn’t the same meal again. Was a little pricy last year, and this year looks to be more so. The kids are chipping in so the old man isn’t stuck paying for everything.
One roommate was down for the unconventional holiday meal, but the other was less enthused, so not much chance I can talk him into helping defray the costs. Instead, I talked my son and his SO into hosting so the roommates don’t have to be involved at all. They can spend the day with her dysfunctional family, or do their own thing here, makes no difference to me.

Aye, I believe the mail was a placeholder until the UI work could be completed. This should save you a trip to the mailbox and not block anything like character deletion or trying to transfer a character

the only thing i know about that, is what i’ve heard from the Cox and Crendor podcast…though its been ages since i last listened to them really.
Chili cheese fries, beef stew in a bread bowl, apple dumpling with ice cream. All while dressed up as a pirate like it was every day.
