I’ve been able to almost double my hours so far at work which is awesome. Definitely keeps me much busier than before though!

The great thing about it, is that I’m absolutely loving what I do. So much so that I’ve applied to go back to school to pursue what I’m doing as a full time career.

It’s a little daunting as I’m married, have kids, a home and responsibilities…so it’s a little scary, but in the long run I think it will be totally worth it!!! School wouldn’t start until Sept and I had a good laugh when the application asked for my “student number”. I wanted to fill in the box with Roman numerals as a joke, but was worried that whoever looked at it might not get what those were!!

Had a really rough night.

Nasty storm came throigh last night. Not sure if a tornado did or not but the warning sirens were going off.

And i started crying. Cuz I was not there with my kids tonprotect them. To know they were safe.

Then the power went out. Still is. Inhabe sleep apnea and ise a cpap machine. So super roigh night sleep wise as well.

Tonight I learned that there are 20-year-olds that don’t know how to wash dishes. I find it unfathomable that this is a skill I have to teach an alleged adult.
Her - “At Panera, we had a dishwasher.”
Me - “We have a dishwasher here. Tonight, she has pink hair.”

I shouldn’t be surprised. Last week, one of the other manager’s had to demonstrate for her the finer points of wielding a broom. She’s a good delivery driver, but useless when it comes time to clean up at the end of the night.

Some of that rolled through our area overnight, but apparently not as bad. At least, I sure didn’t hear anything.

We’re down a(nother) person at work, so we’re down to two - me from 6am-3pm, and the other from noon-9. Yesterday was a bit busy, but nothing like Monday or Tuesday. I’m sure we’re going to get a bunch of work over the next couple days - it’s getting close to open enrollment time, and our clients are probably spooling up for that. There’s going to be a bunch of new users to set up.

Best line!

Hmm, interesting. All of the previous boosts have been turned into level 50 ones now. I have never used any of my boosts from ordering expansions and now have x4 level 50 ones showing on my screen.

UPDATE:

Well, that explains the change.

Right now I’m on a 72 hour week with my day off being random. My boss is also working 72 hours but ~30 of them can’t be billed to the client. He has the potential of not getting any days off.

No sugar, salt, red meat, nuts

The salt will be the hardest part.

You must be nuts pun intended where did all the squirells hide them.

We may get measurable snow on Sunday. :scream: I am not prepared. Well, yes I am but I’m not ready for winter yet. In Michigan you are always prepared for weird weather.

We decided not to bag up the leaves this year. Every year we get 10-15 bags every week for a few weeks. This year we are running the mulching mower over them every few days. It’s working. Also my husband gets to drive his covid money toy around. A zero turn riding mower. :leaves:

We got a little snow today. Just enough to see it was snowing, but not enough to even dampen anything. But WINDY! Holy smokes.

The temp has been all over the place, and doesn’t seem like it’s going to change anytime soon. Short sleeves weather early in the week, coat weather for the next couple days, and 70 by mid-week.

Every other year I do the mulching with the mower bit like you mentioned but this is the year I use the blower to blow the leaves on a large tarp and pull it to the edge of the road and roll the tarp leaving the leaves right beside the road then the city comes by with a big vacuum and sucks them up into their trucks container.
