Think I’m gonna spend patch day running errands. Definitely need to get the car washed. In fact, I’m probably gonna run it through the gas station car wash on my way to the ‘real’ car wash. Then lunch, Walmart, maybe Costco/Sam’s (have memberships at both because I’m extra, as the kids say).

I do as well and came to bed with every intention of taking a nap (as I am a bit sleepy), but alas it evades me as usual.

Yes, indeed they are. AC Shadows could very well be their swan song. I’m gonna do my part to make sure it doesn’t happen because I’d love to see a remake of the original some day, but they have a lot of work to do and a refresh of their entire development practice is highly in order. Slapping a different skin on the same game every time gets old real fast, it’s amazing that CoD gets away with it every time.
Warner Brothers also just closed their Monolith studio after the debacle that was Suicide Squad. Now they’re sitting on a fancy patented game system called Nemesis and who knows what’s gonna happen with it now.

Never tried them - nearest one is hundreds of miles away.
Never tried this either. I am cheap and also doubt it’s possible to deliver fries that are any good. If they’re not right out of the fryer they’re not worth it. I get pizza delivered and that’s fine.
I miss Jack in the Box curly fries. I also miss Whataburger. It was the only place you can drive through and get acceptable chicken strips with white gravy. (DQ serves this but Whataburger does it way better.) In fact I miss all the food I could get in Houston, fast and otherwise.
Edit: the 59 Diner in Houston had the BEST chicken strips ever, of all time. But they’re gone now.
I think it’s for notices when there are potential login issues or stability issues (players may get D/Ced, etc.).

I know some people that are still running Windows XP and Windows Vista. Wouldn’t recommend it though because both of those Operating Systems are no longer supported by Microsoft and haven’t been for years now.
Personally interested in when Microsoft will announce Windows 12.

Days after Win10 goes out of support. Bonus - everyone will have to upgrade equipment for another hardware requirement (which is one reason I haven’t switched to Win11 yet).
(And stupid Windows changing settings/adding “info cards” on my lock screen. 
First thing I had to deal with today.)
Just found out the other day that work is migrating us to Win11 in the next few weeks. Which will be annoying, because I like having my start menu between the screens, not the bottom. Petty, I know, but that’s the way it is.

We had a bit of a surprise last night - we were bowling for first place for the quarter. We didn’t quite get roflstomped, but it wasn’t great. We might end up in third for the quarter, possibly fourth. 
But we’re (mostly) having fun, and that’s the main thing.
We’re in for snow and rain today, which ought to make things nice and sloppy.
I have not only made a cup of coffee, but an espresso, too. It’s going to be a long day, I’m thinking.

Ever since they put in a set of traffic lights down by the corner, they also made it from one direction can’t make a right turn, yet, people seem to continue making a right turn despite they aren’t allowed too.

Good morning all and happy Wednesday! Day after patch day. A day of small Maint.
/Deep cleans the lounge after the long down time shenanigans. Sets out hot, fresh vats of coffee, the hot water kettle with Twining’s English Breakfast Tea next to it, assorted cold juices and drinks. Sets out some bagels, cream cheese, fruit, and assorted pastries.
I am going to admit I have not used the DRIVE car yet. I am at the “learn to drive” quest but stopped there before bed last night. Will try today. I am also very close to finishing the Season in D4 so that has to happen too.
Saga of the linen closet continues. No amount of adjusting the door will correct the slant. It really does have to be cut off. I think Santa is sending me a jig saw today or tomorrow. Santa being dad. He really does not want me touching the circular saw. I COULD use a coping hand saw but that would take forever.
Weather here is going to be warm! Something like 60F which means today I should, if I am good, go cut back the roses and butterfly bush. Should only take about an hour and then that major yard chore will be done for the year. The first crocus blubs were blooming yesterday and the tulips and daffodils are starting to come up! My brain needs to shift into outside mode soon.
