[CS Lounge] Caffeine, Snacks, and a Warm Fire

Hope you all having a good night!

Reached one of my goals for this expansion and that was to reach Honor Level 125.

A little concerned however that my account may be actioned. Was in a random battleground and was getting spawn camped by (3) different Alliance in the graveyard for majority of the match.

Ended up getting mass reported as the lead of the battleground said to mass report me for “Gameplay Sabatoge” because I kept getting killed over and over. Really hoping nothing comes of this because the situation was completely out of my control.

I highly doubt it mass reports is always a urban myth only thing it does is a squelch.

I completely understand that. I’m just worried cause a few players reported me that I’m going to face a suspension now. I’m not the greatest when it comes to PvP. I’ve seen a lot of toxicity in BGs lately.

Hopefully a CSF Agent here can give some insight into this for me.

Players throw mass a report in order to scare players you know this unless ur doing anythign legitimly wrong ur making a volcano over a moe hill.

WoW’s reporting mechanisms and state of PvP really need a massive revamp. It’s just like doing the objectives in Alterac Valley and getting reported for inactivity. The battleground was designed for players to do those objectives. Yet the nature of PvP being what it currently is defies that logic, and to add insult to injury, Blizzard actively encourages players to report for playing the game the way the developers had originally intended.

Reports for inactivity get you kicked out of the BG if you aren’t able to find another player to engage with in combat in the time limit that pops up. That becomes a problem with how Blizzard treats player interaction in PvP.

The toxicity is entirely on Blizzard. They enabled this behaviour and actively encourage it by leaving in place a system whereby players can ruin other players’ time and even create potentially unavoidable consequences as seen in your situation.

And again, this should not be a thing Blizzard actively encourages. The system needs to be retooled to prevent this kind of scenario from even occuring. Blizzard has logs which they can use to action actual detrimental behaviour, but allowing players to bully others in this manner should never have happened.

If it was just a solitary battleground experience I wouldn’t put much stock into their claims. Blizzard can see a lot more than we think they can. If you were actively trying to get out of your spawn, they’ll see that.

I really don’t like having to take down missing pet signs.

Just had some A&W delivered. Ordered me a Teen Burger Combo with onion rings and a root beer!

Any of you got favorite fast food places?

Why would you have to take them down?

I wish we had an A&W around here. I remember the one in Taft, CA when I was a kid. Loved the root beer floats.

Not “fast food”, but the two I remember most fondly are the Family House restaraunt in Chula Vista (still there!) and Love’s BBQ (sadly now just selling their BBQ sauce with no open restaraunts). My 6th grade graduation lunch was at Love’s and was a couple of corn dogs and a big side of their BBQ beans, which were what they were best known for.

If we allow it then there will be a legal argument for allowing soliciting, panhandling etc.
The former is an unfortunate sacrifice to tell freeloaders and homeless to pound sand. The later risks having the property value lowered by the banks.

We also have residents in the area that will complain about both. This place is Karenville.

Mass reporting is mostly a myth. Outside of temporary squelches, usually for spam/advertising, etc… no action is taken without being verified. That isn’t to say a mistake can’t be made, but most of the fear about “mass reporting” is due to the massive effort of coloring the narrative with misinformation.

Thanks for the clarification, Vrak! I had gotten killed well over (50) times in that particular battleground because I couldn’t even get out of the graveyard. Hence why the group leader said to everyone to report me for “Gameplay Sabatoge”.

The battleground in question was Warsong Gulch. Instant I rezzed in the graveyard, I was instantly killed by the Alliance. Didn’t even stand a chance sadly. Should have left the match at that point rather than just feeding the other team kills over and over.

I used to love the Hungry Jack’s in the city that used to exist years ago before it became a bank. The manager there was awesome, and always made sure the food was really good. Even got a free whopper a couple of times for leaving Google Reviews. And it was one of the last Hungry Jack’s within the metro areas here in Sydney that did have free refills with the soft drinks. But yet, they eventually closed down during the construction of the Sydney light rail, and was changed into a bank.

Looks like Season 1 for The War Within ended early. Players reporting over on the Bug Report Forum that they are no longer receiving crests to upgrade their gear from Mythic+.

Not to mention they cannot trade their crests for higher tier crests as well at the crest vendor in Dornogal.

Somebody woke the sleeping centaur

Sorry, I thought it was one of the centaurs I’ve killed in the barrens, so I’ve poked him with a stick. Lesson learnt is to not kill a centaur then try and poke the wrong centaur.

Well, the PVP ratings ended at 10pm Pacific, so perhaps the ability to receive and use crests went along with it as well for some reason.

Some centaurs reside in Thousand Needles. I know Vrakthris does! He has his own NPC in-game too. But in-game he is known as Skycaller Vrakthris and is located Here!

Do centaurs pump their arms when they run (or do they gallop?)

I want to say they flail them like wild wacky flailing inflatable arm man
