Rain or no, crank those windows open tonight.
Still chilly out there - 14°F here, and snowing pretty hard while we were out for our walk. There’s maybe an inch of fresh snow on the ground, with a bit more on the way. But there’s barely any wind, which is welcome.
Mom’s been going to a quilting “retreat” the past couple days. They take all their gear and projects to a local township hall, hang around, and occasionally sew something.
Sees the empty coffee pot, starts it going - I’m going to need a bunch today, I think. /yawn

I just watched a video talking about the new car in the patch.
Judging by the fact that I felt a bit motion sick from it…I’m going to recommend that people pull the camera out as far as they can when they use it. Going Crazy Taxi at high speed may be too much for players who don’t play a lot.

I used to use the cameradistance macro command to get as far out as I can. I guess I still do, technically, but it’s in the options now.
I remember when Doom first came out (yeah, yeah - get off my lawn), I couldn’t play it because the walking “bounce” made me nauseous.

But I do like these temperatures here. The problem here, well, mostly on the east coast, is the humidity. Western Australia would have low humidity with these temperatures which probably fill more comfortable where here in Sydney, we always have high himidity, which depending on how hot or cold, would make it feel hotter or colder than it actually is, by a long shot too.

Good morning. Snowed again but wasn’t too bad. Still friggin’ cold, though.
Hope everyone is doing well!
I don’t get motion sick often, but that’s good to know. I know I have this issue in Wintergrasp where I get into a vehicle and when I’m out of it my camera is entirely zoomed out.
Not a problem in most cases but as a goblin I’m just a little spec on my screen.
And the sprint just made it faster. Heck, I don’t know when they considered making that an option you could turn off in those sorts of games. First I can remember is Quake 3.
I tried to play Cruelty Squad since sources I trust for FPS opinions gave it glowing praises. I flat out can’t play it. Visual noise already gets to me in WoW and that, well, that game is very noisy in that regard.

Ah, space in ED. A place where you can not land on Earth-Like Planets or Fly around in most nebulas
Also, how does this nebula look like the Statue of Liberty since it is called the Statue of Liberty nubula?

I don’t know … but that face is rather creepy.

It is after noon now and I still have done nothing except play Palia. I got up really late as well which is unusual. I need to get back to the decluttering and painting but we shall see how motivated I am.
I think I have mid-winter blahs

The Clocker Spaniel is adorable.
Too bad I don’t do twitch stuff.

Agreed. Now I just need to remember to watch four hours of Twitch next week. Or something.

And by “watch”, you mean “put it on a spare computer in the corner with the speakers turned off until you get credit.”
Well, that’s what I would mean anyway.

I would never do that.
But I’d certainly start it running, then flip my monitor over to work stuff for the day.

I don’t have my twitch linked to Bnet. I have an aversion to linking anything.

That does diminish opportunities for these types of promotions.
It’s weird this pet model hasn’t been datamined; almost always, there’s some info about unreleased pets long before they’re announced. With this, it’s impossible to know if there are other pets of the same model becoming available by other means (like the Trading Post).

OG Doom did do that to me a bit. But it was enough for me to build up resilience.

Almost Friday.
Some good news: My old supervisor before my medical adventure is coming back to work next week. I got to see him again for the first time in months. He, sadly, went through quite a bit after his own surgery but he’s in good spirits and excited to come back. It was real great to see him.
I did take a stab at some creative writing after a good while. I like how it came out, and want to do more. I’ll have to wait for Undermine to come out, but I got a lot of stuff I want to write up.
Prepping for that garden I want to make, going to visit the store tomorrow after work and getting started. They also said on a radio ad that they’ll help new folks so now I know they have to put up with my newb questions.
Oh. And have to say, listening to the Timeways and seeing the sands of time flow around? Real darn relaxing.

Another character maxed and geared (thanks, Siren Isle!). And I have a bunch of currency to gear another character up without having to run it, though I do like Siren Isle in general.
One more day of work for the week. Sheesh - it’s kind of hard getting back into it after a few days off. I was going a bit stir crazy on Tuesday, but now? I don’t want to work. Two of my calls were from insurance customers (whom we should NOT be getting calls from - someone screwed up and put our number on the login page for the customers). One of the callers said she spent two hours on the phone with the company’s support last night. I suggested she try again during the day; maybe the better staff works the day shift. She said she’d try, but if they were still clueless, she was going to change insurance companies (can’t really blame her, honestly).
