A little stressed out. If my wfes work stays closed after April 30th, they will have to claim unemployment. She makes a decent amount more than I do. Our health insurance is much better through her work than my cheap company offers, so it is through there as well.
We are really stressed out, as we both pretty sure she is not going back. Here is to hoping, though.
If she does go back, daddy gets a new computer. If she does not go back, we will need that stimulus money to survive and make up the difference I fear. I suppose time will tell.
All we can do is our best to be safe and do our part.

As typical of my manic states, I crashed…slept a good couple of hours. Feeling much better and less moody.
Making Tacos for dinner tonight, with queso, beans and rice.

Feeling lazy. Tuna Helper for dinner tonight I think. Creamy Alfredo. Also cuz I didn’t take anyting out for dinner tonight.
Last two days I slept until 8 in the morning. Both days I only got up cuz my youngest got me up yesterday with shenanigans and my wife got me up this morning by talking about spending money. Its like she knew it would wake me up or something haha
I was thinking of making chicken enchiladas, not tonight, but in the next few days. I have the dried chilies and other ingredients to make the sauce, we have a bunch of corn tortillas and I just roasted a chicken for salads/sandwiches, etc…

…that’s something i haven’t done up in quite some time now. maybe i’ll see about getting the supplies needed to make that up tomorrow.
i had fish and chips tonight…thinking i may take a breather from ACNH. not even a day into the “Easter” themed event, and already i’m done. to put it in “polite terms”, there’s no shortage of eggs in this event…like at ALL. be it fishing, or foraging for minerals or lumber, or digging for fossils. and the sky gifts…those balloons…eye twitches
i don’t want to use time travel as an option, due to some of the downsides i read about, but this event is making me strongly consider it now. .-.

I’m not certain what you are referring to, Breakinbones, there haven’t been CS layoffs since 2012. Nor do I really understand what anything in this thread has to do with potential layoffs.
Are you suggesting that this thread is an example of something that should lead to layoffs? Am I misunderstanding you, or are you trying to tell a narrative that simply doesn’t exist?
Granted, this thread really isn’t for that kind of discussion, but it does seem like an out of the blue and entirely unnecessary, even mean spirited, comment.

My household is planning to get pizza tonight too, though we usually go Dominos.

I honestly prefer Papa John’s, but given that John whatshisface made some pretty racist comments a few years back and is still getting money from them, we still aren’t comfortable ordering from them.
Ughhhhhh, that just made my mouth water, I haven’t had pizza in aaaaaaaages. Hot pockets notwithstanding.
I’ll have to check them out next time we go for a resupply run.
