Yeah they are; Rots the skin around the area of the bite due to the area around the bite swelling and not allowing blood to flow and then the flesh dies, Really nasty boogers, But not near as nasty as some I have read that Australia have.

Here our Black Widows have the red Hour Glass on their belly but I saw one from Australia that have this red mark on their back, Maybe it has something to do with our continents being on opposite sides of the equator?

I remember the time when CSF would reach 4 pages deep in one day. Now, even taking into account “infinite” scrolling, hardly anyone comes here for help. I think that’s a good thing. But I do miss helping people.

I’m fine. Getting ready for work. This is my Monday now. This new “restructuring”? Yeah. Pure chaos. I’m just going with it.

And yeah, Winter is over. Straight in to Summer in the Tampa Bay area.

A high of 50F here yesterday and today a high of 22F. When the temperatures fluctuate like that, I want to eat everything in the house that isn’t healthy.

For a short time (somewhere around 3 years) I was in SQA for copier/duplicator product development at Kodak.

All the low paid help had access to virtually unlimited paper and copiers.

It was a time of many restructurings and downsizings.

Management couldn’t keep up with the cartoons and jokes posted on every wall and column.

Some were quite imaginative.

One of them said (in a nice font):

“nobody can criticize management for not having a long term vision; hell we have a brand new one every other week!”

Another one was a cartoon of a racing shell with one rower and eight coxswains with the caption “He’s still not going faster” and an aside of one of the coxswains saying “let’s try taking away one of his oars”.

Perhaps you don’t have such a thing, but that was always what the coffee pot location was for. Anything editable put there was gone like magic. Good stuff at the speed of light, dog biscuits within two hours.

Oh well. What a day. Time to start looking for a new job. Not because I got fired. But because the head of my department got so pissed that she put in her 30 day notice. A reason good enough for me tk leave too

Proves this company does not care about this department.
