The robot/recording doesn’t know you hung up, and doesn’t care, either.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE brussels sprouts. Especially steamed. We had some delectable Kung Pao brussels sprouts for dinner on Valentines Day. It was soooooo good.
Honestly, the only thing that will stop spam calls is if companies like AT&T start getting large fines for participating in any part of a spam robocall (including connecting an incoming one to a customer), not just the people making the call (Most of whom don’t care because the FCC has no jurisdiction over India)
I feel like this advice applies to almost everything.
Well got the drake armor.
Grats!
Id rather have the mount lol.
I would as well. Just finished my 300th run this year tonight. Have yet to see mount (been trying for 12 years on that) OR the manuscript.
Insert “Bloodlust sound”…
Doing some cleaning this weekend, got a house inspection in 4 weeks.
Way better than the Heroism sound. Clank
Those are my favorite people to troll !!
I have this uncanny ability to be able to mimic accents and change the pitch of my voice so when they call i put on an act most of them hang up after they figure out i am leading them on.
I do the BA test kitchen one that’s basically that and chili crisp.
Me too last night. Still no mount too
17 alts who were eligible for the mount this year.
Favorite Seinfeld scene.
Telemarketer calls
Jerry: “I don’t have time right now. Why don’t you give me your number and I’ll call you later?”
Telemarketer: “I’m sorry, they don’t allow us to do that.”
Jerry: “I guess you don’t want people calling you at home.”
Telemarketer: “No…”
Jerry: “Now you know how I feel!”
slams phone down
My Grandmother always said that since she paid the phone bill, she got to decide whether or not to answer it. I hold to that feeling as well. I keep my phone on a setting that silences all calls but ones from my Contacts List. Everyone else can just leave me a message.
Also, when I want to not be bothered unless important, I will set my Focus to Do Not Disturb – then only my favorited Contacts (i.e., husband, son, & daughter) will alert the phone.
I have a robo call filter on my home phone. You have to push # for it to ring through. It still lights up the screen on the phone, which is next to my computer. That’s how I know how often they call.
It blows my mind that people still have home phones. I haven’t had one for 12 years now. All I ever got on it was telemarketers and scammers.
Now, I use the call screening feature on my google pixel and LOVE it!!! It screens the call for you and lets you see what the other person is saying via voice-to-text and gives you options to answer, tell them to remove you from their calling list, hang-up and so on. It’s awesome!
Happy Sunday all!
Yes. The phone is not the boss of me. The phone is a servant. I choose whether and when to answer.
