Crystal Furry (Forge of Aeons) always Evading

The snake trick worked for me. I didn’t have to pull anyone outside of the cave though. Just far enough back to lose aggro

I had this issue, I grabbed a snake and moved T’paartos away a few feet until he wasn’t being targeted by the Crystal Fury. I couldn’t do any damage, unless I was right next to it. I was able to defeat it and continue.

This worked great. 2 frogs to get him up the ramp half way and was able to kill crystal fury. Thank you for work around. It was geat.

On a mage, and haven’t found any work around for this. I guess the best we can do is report the bug and hope an admin responds on this page to let us know when it’s fixed. Kind of a major bug, since it removes access to an entire race.

I spent money on a race change for the sole purpose of getting the Lightforged Dranei, so the hours spent questing now feel like a total waste

I had the same problem, and the ideas didn’t work for me. But I did find a solution. While I was never able to get T’paartos to fight the Fury, I was able to pull him far enough away that when I attacked the Fury myself, it was no longer evading, and I was able to solo it (as a very weak and unskilled Draenei DK.)

But that wasn’t even the worst problem. After this point, each time I died, the respawn point was exactly where a mob was located. Several other mobs got aggro to me because the mob I spawned it did some sort of fear spell, causing me to aggro several mobs. What a mess. No other quest in WoW forces you to respawn on mobs that can fear you. It took me hours to finish this scenario with these problems.

Even worse yet, there’s no way to repair or to mount (some mounts allow repairs) so if your gear gets red from dying too much, you have to restart the scenario.

This worked for me! You’re a legend

I am playing a fairly weak shadow priest, and therefore I am literally incapable of soloing the boss, because whenever I leave his attack range he immedieately heals back to full and my abilities do like no damage. Is there any way you can lure T’paaros to attack the boss? I used a snake to lure him in and T’paaros actuallly attacked the crystal fury, dealing significant damage, but then I got killed by the snake because it was still aggro’d on me. I feel like that strategy might work for somebody less squishy than me, but for now I am trying to find another strategy.

Also still having this issue. Was hoping they would fix it during maintenance.

Same here.

I had the same bug with the Crystal Fury evading all attacks but got it to complete. Pull the snake from outside (in the water to the right of the cave entrance) and get it to stand directly under the Crystal Fury in the cave. If it’s not on top of it, it won’t work. T’paaros will start to attack the Crystal Fury. Just let the snake keep aggro on you until he’s murdered the Crystal Fury.
