I timed out on a 28 but If I pop metamorphosis and my defense cd I can Survive crushing depths then for the 2nd one i used netherwalk to survive and killed the boss.

Still broken; ridiculous that it has been a month and no fix even worse is lying about fixing it. This makes me believe that Blizzard will not be able to do any of the promises they keep making about fixing all the issues in keys for Midnight if they cant even fix this or the Fangs of Ashamane quest bug.

On remix my toon has 280 Million health in a +29 and this ability is hitting me for 380 million.

I can’t even quite figure out how the math is working here. This damage indicates a rough 226.2% increase on the base damage of the ability (60% of your max health) which doesn’t correlate to either the key level’s damage increase (which is far higher), Tyrannically Fortified’s damage increase, or the combination of both.
Sure would be nice to not have a dead key for solo pushing, which is something they otherwise encouraged via the design of the event.

Are we not allowed to solo this? I’m trying a +40 solo with a toon with 360 million health pixels. This boss Crushing Depths me with 421 million health pixels. That’s negative health pixels.
Am I missing a mechanic or is Blizzard Crushing Depths my soul with this boss?

Its obviously broken and bugged, but as I advised someone else, shielding seems to work where damage mitigation failed when I did it on a warlock. I got 1 shot through unending resolve, but dark pact worked at absorbing the whole damage.

Can confirm it still isn’t fixed. Insta death for each member targeted. Pretty frustrating.
What a pain. Soloing the whole place easily just to get to a brick wall.
I was lucky - as a havoc DH I could Netherwalk for the first one to immune it, then used darkness for the second. Took 4 deaths before darkness RNG let me avoid the damage and actually beat the boss. Remix time didn’t give me netherwalk back in time.
Still absolutely broken. GG Blizz. Joke of a company.

Still broken on the 28th of Dec. BM hunter, and it hit me for 430 million and overkill for 636 million. I have 999 versatility, and it’s killing me like its nothing.

Jan 9, 2026 - still broken. M+ 43. Still hitting for 400-600 million. I don’t foresee it getting fixed before the end of Remix.
