Cross-Realm Battlegrounds are inauthentic; please support its change back

This is how I see it as well. Go realm-only, and if queue times get out of hand, address that issue at that time.

That is something many pro-crbg people refuse to acknowledge. CRBGs may never actually be needed in classic. But to many, anything less than an instant, no queue bg is the only acceptable scenario.

Yeah, imagine I find that person and we queue as a group, and wait for over an hour to get in. Of course it’d be easier to simply find players on my own realm, but I’d spend more time waiting than actually playing.

When the queues became really fast from this change, those same friends on my realm would join up with me and queue all the time.
The point I was making was of how many players who loved PvP outside of the realm, I would recognize and became friends with. Cross realms doesn’t close the gap to making friends.

Maybe not at first, I’ll give you that. Later on? probably.

Man grammar this morning is not my strong suit, bare with me. =/

With all respect, my experience differs.

Come on now, nobody is taking you seriously with this. Do you imagine you will run out of candidates to become your friends unless you can meet people from other servers in a BG? Good grief, what reaching…

I already addressed that.

Problem later? Fix it later.

Cross ream BG’s is a bad idea, I am just learning they are implementing CSBG’s terrible decision the game was so much more fun in vanilla. I’m seriously pissed off about this now, I played a lot of BG’s rank 14 so much fun except the brutal grind ofc….man this really sucks whatever man. All people saying it doesn’t matter to them I find hard to believe they even played back then bc u can’t tell me same server pvp wasn’t atleaST 10X better then cross realm only + about it was shorter q’s…

Dude, I played since Vanilla was in CLOSED BETA (invite only, before paladins even had seals), and I will tell you this… CSBG’s is not game breaking in anyway. If you ever played ANY OTHER MMO before WoW, you’d know people wanted to PVP with others outside of their server, which forced them to have to reroll.
If I’m one of the top PvP players on my server, then I want to play against someone on another server that poses a challenge. I stand for CSBG’s. It’ll add to the rivalry, not take it away. Q_Q

Strange feeeling of deja vu reading this topic. I mean this wouldn’t be spam or anything against the ToU which could be flagged? Would it?
So what’s the real reason people don’t want xrbg’s? Do premades have to dodge other premades more with xrbg’s? Is it harder to buy rank? Does it make win trading harder?
I’m not buying this recognize enemies line. You can recognize others within your battle group and now that we have bnet. You can even add them. So I don’t see the logic in this community excuse.
Which means there’s another reason…

Honestly, it’s people thinking Classic has to be IDENTICAL to Vanilla… and it doesn’t. I’m all for XS BG’s!

You sure have become cranky since losing your level 3 trust.

Sorry if it seems as much.

I feel people argue there’s a disconnect from the community when you play with randoms from other realms in battlegrounds. I’m trying to argue that although yes, you can meet a lot of faceless players, but when you play BGs often, you will begin to recognize a lot of these faces.

Eventually a community is crafted from the players you come to recognize. This is what I experienced. We’d eventually barge into each other’s Ventrilo servers to queue together intentionally (count down).

Of course I met players on my own realm which I became friends with and PvP’d with. I just also remember the super long queues we’d deal with while dueling outside of Orgrimmar/Ironforge for hours.

Nope

And you are extending the umbrella of “community” to multiple servers. Server community in BGs means that you recognize faces in BGs that you can run into outside of the BGs during normal play.

I thought the same thing honestly as I typed that.

But then I remembered that although I will be playing on a PvP realm full of those who love the sport, there will be players who rolled on realms not so high in population and don’t have that same PvP driven audience.

So should we cross realm some BGs, but not others? May as well level the playing ground with all realms.

Why do you keep ignoring what a number of us have been repeatedly posting?

Pleaser remove battle ground from Classic Wow, as original Wow did not have any battle group experience until months to years after release,

it had no dungeon content for the first several weeks , and rage fire cannon and the westfall instance didn’t come in until a month or so after game was out.

Any type of Battle ground system or player queue group or summoning stones are a ingeniue experience of classic wow.

Cross realm BGs were in 1.12.

I don’t care about any of that Q dodging ect, it was simply more fun playing against players on your server, why do I have to break this down in detail dummy it up for people. You gotta be kidding me. I was glad when I heard xrealm was coming bc of qs but looking back the experience, rival, players forms all that was something that will never be experienced again. Even with same server not to the previous extent anyway so I guess it won’t matter as much but im 100% sure it would have been 10x more enjoyable the way I remember it. That is all.
PS don’t take it personal I just think cross realm bg took away from the experience adding it tward the end wouldn’t be such an issue but at the start for the experience it deff takes away from much fun.I got carried away with the ps LOL
