Cross faction PVP harassment and abuse on Clustered server groups

honestly while that would solve the problem in its entirety, people cheating on pvp servers because features that were once intentional restrictions were lifted by proxy via the introduction of a new feature and targeted harassment through that broken barrier shouldn’t be a reason to be forced to leave a guild you’ve played with for over a year who you still enjoy playing with just to be somewhere that one valid and obnoxious problem is causing issues. we literally have a guy who sits in org on a horde alt waiting for flagged people to be in spell range of the inn, and when people are checking their mail he logs in with full arcane power pom pyro cooldowns, nukes a rando, invis pots and logs out to reset cooldowns. we have had people swarm our world boss attempts and alliance has had the same because of /who only, i’ve seen people log out on one toon because they got camped in one zone to go onto another character and not deal with that crap only to get camped by the same player in a completely different zone on opposite continents. /who displaying people’s locations is legitimately a problem and so is just hiding on friendly alts to freely scout hostile cities. it was never this bad or this personal before without people even having to run 2 or more accounts. rogues and druids sneaking around using their natural abilities to hide and see what’s going on? sure perfectly fine, small groups of alliance well coordinated and trashing people unfortunate enough to come to org flagged? okay there’s at least something you can do about that via flight paths or waiting out a flag. the issue isn’t fair and reasonably expected pvp, it’s legitimate mechanical abuse like /who tracking and same-cluster-different-faction alt scouting or terrain abuse (mob reset spots)
there are absolutely reasonable expectations of incidental pvp encounters just about anywhere, but i think i’m most onboard with solving most of the problems mentioned by simply removing people’s locations from /who and the ability to search by location on clustered server groups. not hard to see that someone’s online and ask them and after that if you tell someone you don’t trust where you are you’re just asking for it.
