Cross faction horde-alliance mail possible

This isn’t Final Fantasy.

Obviously. But they are comparable in this respect, because FFXIV started out with isolated servers and isolated economies, just like WoW.

Is the AH cross faction or will it be? If not, people who like to play the AH are about to make a fortune, if there is cross faction mail but not AH.

They aren’t comparable. They aren’t the same game with the same economies and same age and same server populations, etc. Final Fantasy also doesn’t have a server specific BMAH to concern itself with.

You’ll screw over servers like mine. And I like my server community. I don’t need people AH camping messing up my low pop server.

It’s been cross faction for a long time.

It has been ever since 6.0.

AH has been cross-faction for a while, IIRC.

Servers in FFXIV still get used as the basis for guilds and housing and in theory transfers are free if realm pop is extremely low or in special circumstances like the opening of a new DC (like Crystal in Stormblood, or the new Oceania/SEA DC) and they still end up making some money off of transfers

At this point I’m pretty sure bliz could make most player services free and they’d still make up for it money-wise with the store

FFXIV has low pop and high pop servers. I’m on one of those lower pop servers in FFXIV. The economy on my server didn’t noticeably change when they implemented the world visit feature. Hell, most people don’t even really bother to server shop with marketboards, because it’s kind of a pain in the butt to do (going from server to server to check prices; there’s a website that tries to track them, but it’s rather inaccurate).

A few people optimize in this way, just like there’d be some in WoW, but it’s not at all the deathknell you seem to think.

It just sucks that I worked within the system in WoW as it was, and now I either have to fork over a stupid amount of money or deal with being completely cut off if I want to play my Alliance characters with cross-faction raiding. There has got to be a solution somehow.

it’s especially funny during expansion launches because you end up with massive queues going back home if your original server is something high pop like Balmung or Famfrit

We’re at an impasse here. WoW is not Final Fantasy. WoW does not have the same types of economies and has the BMAH. I don’t want AH bots screwing things up more than they already do. Blizz doesn’t want it either. Until more servers are connected and there’s more stability between things, you’re stuck on your servers. Which is good to me. I don’t want my server community destroyed.

Thanks, didn’t know that, but in my defense, I’m a dog.

People not knowing that is actually more common than you may think. It’s all good. :slightly_smiling_face:

And? If you think WoW didn’t take things from other games I’ve got news for you lol.

If this is real then super amazing. I can finally make a Wolfy Boi without him literally living in a dog house because he is broke.

Literally has nothing to do with the conversation.

Shoo. No treat for you.

whacks little fox nose with newspaper

Literally does because who is to say they might not take some things from FF14 in the future. Its obvious you have some sort of hate against that game.

I’m sorry you’re incapable of comprehending the differences in economies and auction houses and items that can be sold.

How in the name of all that is green and good you managed to reach ever so far up in there and managed to come out with this, I have no freaking idea.

Absolutely nothing I said was in any way negative towards Final Fantasy. Nor was there any good or bad comparison given. You inserted yourself into a conversation you can’t even seem to comprehend.

Go project your insecurities and nonsense elsewhere.

This is good.

I wish blizzard would let us use an optional reagent to let us send bind on account legendary pieces to my alliance characters. It would be very much appreciated. Its so expensive to learn to craft 291 recipes and doing that all over on alliance is really annoying.

Please add an optional reagent that turns items bind on account!
