Crimson Vial Removed?

Saw this on PTR notes:

  • Create: Crimson Vial Create a Crimson Vial to share with allies. Maximum of 3 can be carried at once. Crimson Vial Drink an alchemical concoction that heals you for 30% of your maximum health over 6 sec Spell #212,198. 3 charges. PvP Talent. PvP Talent. 1.5 sec cast. 60 sec recharge. 3 charges.

Its prob just cleaning up a tooltip for outlaw rogues

Redundancy

I mean all the changes they do to this game are tooltip changes and raid hotfixes so its safe to assume

So it doesn’t heal outlaw Rogues? Looked up a talent calculator and it has that for Outlaw too. Not so sure it’s a tooltip fix, looks like the healing is removed.

nah wowhead actually says that crimson vial is just removed from the game

I’d be curious what this is, either changing a name or it’s effect. Odd they wouldn’t have a placement for it already.

Odd to see a removal of a talent with no compensation.

it’s not just the talent, it’s the actual ability from the class

no mage barrier nerfs but crimson vial removed?

give me hotdads or give me death

Doesn’t show that it’s removed anywhere, the spell # references what it will be. LIKE A BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY

nope, it literally says the ability is removed on the wowhead notes

Maybe it’s the beginning of getting rid of non hybrid healing for DPS specs?

One can hope.

edit: DH Leech should be removed first.

I vote Soul Leech from locks before DH leech

why? they are both obnoxious

I hope it’s removed honestly

I really think it’s a step in the right direction to not have dps with so much self sustain. I’d rather rogues keep every other strength they have and have crimson vial removed than them hit in other areas because they’re also really tanky

Also cmon isn’t it hilarious to think arms wars have no self healing and yet assa rogues do

Tbh I don’t think any dps spec should have heals unless their hybrids but even then I think they should be weak heals. I hate getting cc on my hunter and say a dk just stands there and death strike spams so basically getting the trap was bait. =/ Another step in the right direction would be pruning mage barriers errr I meannnn nerf them… Also Warlock’s sitting in the middle of the map and literally just being immortal without having to do nothing is really silly I would rather have pet soul link back over soul leech

i’ll be surprised if regular crimson vial is removed

what it looks like, to me, is they’re removing the honor talent that lets you craft a usable vial and trade it to teammates

I felt the opposite since the red line goes through the entire healing portion of the description. Like someone stated earlier too, on WoWhead it just says it’s been removed.

eh
without that info, i think “remove a talent almost nobody takes” is much more likely than “remove an ability every rogue uses that i’m pretty sure has a section in the class trial tutorial”

that info itself, in a vacuum, seems a lot like them just screwing around with tooltips that were and will again be meaningless, everybody knows how worthless tooltips are

i feel 60 40 that the baseline ability will endure. the argument can be made that rogues aren’t easy enough to kill, but i really don’t think rogue abilities are a cause. if damage and healing were both higher, and cc were more available, rogues would be one of the easier classes to erase in a window. their major defensive cds are long, and ret is i think the only class that is heavily affected by both of them.

Yes the game is better with distinct class roles. If you need a heal better peel for your healer.
