This doesn’t fix anything, it just makes it a future problem when people pile back on to the megaserver
The beginning of an expansion is always by far the busiest time, and the server populations always significantly die down a couple of months into the expansion. The problem won’t be near as bad in November/December. And if it is and you’re happy on your new server, you can stay there if you want.
They have never in 18 years come close to fixing server pops. I doubt they ever will so why would they start now?
I doubt they’ll do anything. They’re probably just hoping we quit and go back to retail.

Same here. I’d transfer right this minute if I knew I could get back on Faerlina. It’s just a dumb risk to take when there’s a realistic possibility Blizz decides mega servers are over and locks the big ones permanently.
The Free Migration options are a joke.
They want people to transfer from a populated horde server to a dead server that is Alliance dominated.
Open up the options for what servers we can freely transfer to and you might see a change.
Not sure anyone here understands whats its like to play on a dead server but its no fun at all.
They need to give options for medium pop servers for the free transfer options.
Noone is going to go from a server with 20 K horde players to a server with 150 .

This is not some free game that a small company made. It’s an 18 year old game from a billion dollar company that make MANY MILLIONS MONLTY just on subscription fees!
Only a clown would blame players in this situation.

From the start of Classic, Blizzard has said they’re VERY reluctant to do anything to keep players from playing where they want – even if it means a server is totally dominated by one faction.
We were told at the start of Classic, “Don’t glom all on one server, transfers will not be available right off the bat, and we still don’t want to mess with server populations.”
We were told the same thing when TBC Classic was announced.
Players chose not to believe them. Hence, player stupidity.
Please point to the inaccuracy. What’s that? There isn’t one?
