Edit: Throwing old school Scholomance into the ring since if you know the lore and the atrocities that happened there it makes it so much worse.
Something about the giant dragon skeleton in the water right off the south of Dragonblight makes my hair raise too.

Sucks to be you but I crave underwater expeditions and seeing big ominous things like skeletons and such. Also there is bones off of the south west tip of vashir.

I was just about to say honhonhonnn I played that in VR and I absolutely loved it. I’m fascinated with creatures like the reaper leviathans and ghost ones, and I love the water. It was so fun. Kind of clunky to control but fun.

The aggro trains which consisted of tens of hundreds of Leper midgets used to terrify me back in the day, especially when Hunters or Warlocks for to dismiss their pets when jumping off some of the ledges…
I’m a sucker for all things Eldritch and Lovecraft.
It’s not really super scary or creepy, but I didn’t quite expect to find such a thing when I first played WoW. But it’s the Master’s Glaive in Darkshore.
I thought to myself, these fools are trying to dig this nightmare out of the ground and resurrect it?!!
OMG how could I forget the sha thing under the temple of niuzao who has a mechanic that the screen goes black and there’s a scream that quest almost made me throw my laptop cause I had earbuds in
