I am having the same problem with the same error message, and it has been happening for about a week now. It can happen while I am in battle, or just standing around doing nothing. It has happened on all characters in a great variety of places.

I have been having this issue. I am currently testing out closing bnet launcher after game launches. Had this same issue years ago and just remembered that was the problem. 1 hour in no crashes

I’ll try this, too. Thank you. Even one hour without a crash would be helpful!

Hey, Shanlie!

This crash is actually related to your AMD Ryzen chipset and BIOS version.

You have a Ryzen chipset motherboard. There is a memory management bug with older chipset and BIOS versions for Ryzen motherboards. You have an old BIOS installed. It is highly recommended to update your motherboard chipset and BIOS. Having an older BIOS and chipset can lead all sorts of system stability issues from programs crashing, to Windows Bluescreens.

If you have issues updating your BIOS and chipset, please reach out to your motherboard manufacturer for assistance. This is outside of our scope of support.

I will try and get that BIOS updated, thank you and will let you all know the results.

edit

I haven’t updated this thread since doing this - but It definitely stopped the crashing in WoW
