Must be nice to, somehow (I highly doubt you), have professions that can be leveled to 100 quickly.
How much buckets of gold did you have to spend? How many alts did you have to create to utilize their biweekly spark?

For Leatherworking, make the blue-quality profession equipment.
For Jewelcrafting, pick up the gem cluster from Glassware.
This is false. See above.
got to stretch out the time played.
I see a hybrid attempt at more complicated âcraftingâ (eve calls its industry, indy, industrial) systems like in eve. that to be a do it all crafter takes time.
2 things. eve enforces use of âcrafiting ordersâ via market system to push other angles like their PI (planetary interaction). this little system did not take as expected. so they made it take off with an overhaul a few years back.
If one does not like that angleâŚgo do PI yourself. the market use via orders is for if you jsut donât want to do this really lol.
passive training system. It may take a few months to skill up. you can setup that couple month training qeueu and literally not touch that crafting alt the whole time.
Iâd have this the fairer system. you paid your $15âŚthey got their money. Its on you to determine how to actually use that paid time.
Where is the motivation to play that char some may ask? wellâŚif you go run some missions you get standing for select NPC corps to cut down on costs. Job Install fees, taxes on stuff sold, etc. Donât like to pay as much taxesâŚgo do stuff.
I think it would be interesting to know the percentage of players who abandoned production and took up gathering professions over the course of this expansion. This would give a concrete number to the definite failure of the crafting system, so they wonât be doing that anytime soon.
The only failure of the crafting system is that a good chunk of WoWâs playerbase continues to exult in their lack of information, and turn their noses up whenever anyone tries to help.
The quantity of outright lies in these complaint threads is ridiculous.
Iâve never been a fan of item quality in games (flashbacks of DAoC 99% vs 100% crafting) but other than that I think itâs been kind of cool.
A system can be a failure if it doesnât have the intended consequence of getting engagement with it. If that is due to complexity or lack of information, then it can be addressed through simplification and/or more information.
There are tons of people using work orders to have stuff made, every day. Blizzard said so in their blue post, today.
Have they released the numbers on how many people dropped crafting and went with gathering professions?
Would it matter? Youâre going to go with the imaginary numbers in your head in any case.
It absolutely would matter. It would speak to the failure of the system and the promoters of that system if people abandoned it in favor of something simpler, something they donât have to be sat at constantly refreshing for advancement.
Blizzard carefully avoids talking about certain aspects of the crafting system. They did not say that everybody can have a profitable crafting profession . Apparently, it is quite the opposite. There will be a handful of âgood craftersâ that everyone else can buy from. That is what they see as sufficient. But I donât know where the concept of âgood craftersâ comes from. I can see how some players get better at raiding or dungeons by learning rotations and specific dungeons/raids, but how does that apply to a crafting profession? There is some skill in figuring out how you can make money with a profession, but a lot of that is just related to timing and being in the market first.
Blizzard is not about to admit the current crafting system has serious flaws. Everything they say is PR for the ears of stockholders and investors. They know that a lot of people are unhappy but they are not going to be honest and admit their current âvisionâ for crafting is that there will be a few âmaster craftersâ who do well versus everybody else who finds they are throwing a lot of gold down the drain. I suppose you can âenjoyâ crafting as long as you donât expect to actually make money, and if you donât mind throwing money away.
alchemy, spam the discover recipe not hard, Black Smithing spam Masterâs hammerâs its really not difficult if you actually play the game. I have so much extra mats from mining and herbing I can make anything for anyone for commission only my mats their sparks and soulbound mats. if you spent less time complaining on the forums like this you could probably have done it yourself. I repeat skill issue
why ive done it in ESO (mastered all crafts and anyone can gather its not even a thing) the market is decentralized so it doesnât hurt anything i made 2 million gold this week selling from my guild store. If you are a crafter and crafting is your thing ESO is your game.
How many hours a day do you gather? A node here and there while youâre out doing WQ? Do you have only one character as a gatherer?
Just wondering, are you Akapriest?
Saw someone with that name in a Wintergrasp the other day, but I think he afked out since his name dropped off the list. First teamfight I see an âAkapriestâ out of the corner of my eye/healing in the background, it reminded me of the forums and the âAkamonkâ that posts here
The names are similar enough I figured it wouldnât hurt to ask
WoW and others might do it that way, but theyâre not the only MMOs and it certainly doesnât mean that itâs the ONLY way to do things.
You can do everything in rs. Screw your âchoicesâ and âthis is how itâs supposed to work in MMOsâ Thatâs only a limitation that you choose to accept because of all the brainwash.
Good then please explain it because i dont understand this system at all lol
Which is why the system is broken.
I refuse to do this, so I just wonât do profs outside herb/mining until they fix it.
I also think it is frustrating how you need to line up the stars to get something made too.
Anyone who sticks up for the new crafting system I can only laugh imagine having a system thatâs a full time job going from shadowlands to this is so laughable wish yâall whining about wanting better crafted gear would of just shut up now weâre stuck with this failure for all professions.
