I just got a shard yesterday. Unfortunately that should have been 10 but last character forgot to put it in the bank and I am not sure which it was. So I sure hope there is no mechanism to stop them dropping if I don’t find it.
got a friend i run keys with who farmed for it and got it before m+ came out. ive been farming for that every now and then plus alts and i have a whole 1 shard. i hate mounts that are like the alani mount in mop where its pure dumb luck to get. this game is to rng heavy
I got the mount and got another 30 shards but this was a while ago, Holding onto them for when they make it so the Mount is shareable to sell it
I farmed in the cave where the spiders where super spawning not sure if they still do or not like i said i did my farm weeks ago

I got the last shard after 10406 kills and I’m loving the mount. Not seen any shards after the last one but only have around 500 kills in IoD after I got the mount.
It is a cool mount and I really love it and feel that the time and effort I put into getting it was worth it.
As an addendum to my previous statement about not seeing any shards after getting the mount, I just received a shard from a random kill in IoD, and this is after roughly 3-4 weeks of having a mount, so they do continue to drop.

Got 3 during EA just normally leveling characters, since EA ended haven’t seen a single one and I’ve leveled 5 more characters since EA ended.
exploit early, exploit often indeed.
These shards should be sold in the AH.
