Disable Optimize for windowed games. go into graphics settings in windows and make sure thats off. turns off flip presentation model. thats a nasty bug that tanks fps
Doesn’t apply to WoW at all. That option is for legacy DX11 and DX10. If you’re playing WoW on DX11(should be 11.3 if I’m not mistaken, which is basically 12 minus a few features in terms of how frames are presented) or DX12, that setting will do nothing for the game.
Its not that, its the flip presentation model thats bundled into it that causes the problem
