If so… no wonder we’re not getting cross-faction exteriors, or any new exterior types… they’re saving all that for the slop, I mean shop.

$75 for a digital treehouse, via a virtual currency system, is still ridiculous.

I’d rather build it myself than buy it.
People already aren’t touching Housing. Locking the good stuff behind real money just makes it worse. That’s not adding value… that’s doubling down on a system players are already ignoring.
I’m neutral on Housing, but if I use it, everything in mine is earned in-game. Not paying for decorations.
I’m also not into Bruto. Yes, I have the money… I almost bought it. But then I realized I still want to travel back to main cities to use the AH. Getting Bruto is basically saying goodbye to that part of the game… and I’m not interested in cutting that out.

I have no interest in housing, though I did get the bruto because it was WAY cheaper than the OG bruto and I use it a lot. No “summon me back” walks of shame when I need to get consumables.

When I can pay with a credit card I might consider it, but I’m not paying for some stupid currency too. Talk about making a simple purchase needlessly complicated.

If I was still enjoying the game and not utterly annoyed at Blizzard I’d consider paying.
But I am not so I won’t.
Blizzard would have to restore pets or do something utterly amazing and fun for me to change that policy.

Beyond the fact that, ironically despite being a Haranir the tree house doesn’t fit me thematically, the fact that the UI, animations, content, etc doesn’t work and they’re STILL TRYING TO NICKLE AND DIME US is just the nail in the coffin why I won’t pay for things liek this…

I’m of two minds– on the one hand yeah they’ve been going butt-wild with this kind of thing, but on the other I’m glad the base sub is still low. Maybe it will all come out in the wash together.
