And again (consistent theme here), you’re ignoring the part where changing Covns WAS IN FACT part of the design. “Pull the ripcord” was part of the design, from before SL launched.

Not that it matters. You are, again, and still ignoring the fact that if their “initial spec” was one thing and it changed… for the 3rd or 4th time now, that’s their JOB to change the code.

I know what it means to get a spec. I also know the specs change ALLLLLL THE TIMEEEEE and the best companies roll with those changes. You’re telling me a AAA-production company couldn’t do the change they INITIALLY PLANNED FOR?

Well, the way the system is set up, you are incentivized to do just that. Log in, send your followers out, and then log out. Then log in again later, collect the rewards, rinse and repeat. At least in my case, that is the case.

If the majority of your followers for one covenant are maxed out in terms of their level and the rewards gained for missions you pay a high price if you swap regularly and have to cancel incomplete missions. Why forgo the rewards to join an M+ group that is waiting forever for players like you? Let them wait. Let them unsub along with you when your time runs out.

You could use the mobile app. But I made my life easier and just didn’t touch the mission table for two expansions. lol

You’re still assuming how things were done. Without knowing for sure, there is no way to really know how much effort it would or would not take. You seem to be suggesting that this would be a simple enough change that 1 person could do it alone in about an hour. I’m not suggesting that it would require a full re-write, but I am saying that it would be somewhere in the middle, and also not the best use of time to fix and edge case now that will be effectively deprecated in less than 2 months.

Joined a group on a healer alt for a 24 that needed a healer, but after having started missions. Darn, but I needed to swap covenants. Okay, fair enough, but all of the missions I spent 10 minutes setting up will be cancelled. The anima will be lost, the gold and mats I wanted will be lost.

Meh, naw. Log out instead. Buy a Steam game to play instead and after playing it watch something on Netflix. Go on your merry way. And unsub out of frustration after the next few times that happens.

Meanwhile the group that needed the healer will have to wait another half an hour. Good. Thanks Blizzard for the forethought on that. You could have just put the missions on pause and all would be well.

Is there a reason you can’t just be NF all the time? I do keys as Kyrian but not as high as you so I can’t comment on that aspect but if NF is better for your favorite content why not just stay NF?

On one of my toons, the followers are mostly level 60 and starting from scratch on the mission table from level one meant lost rewards because the rewards are incomparable. I have a number of toons, and starting from scratch again on a host of them actually adds up. It is not only that. Kyrian is great for doing dailies. Night Fae bites in comparison.
