After unlocking the 3rd anima conductor upgrade, I finally have the ability to get the 24 hour/persist through death covenant buff of my choice… only to find that it only works in my covenant zone and not in any dungeons.
Why does this even exist? Why should anyone care about a 1 zone, open world buff and what is this really impacting? It just feels like filler with no purpose.
I mean, it kinda is just that. A perk, nothing more. I personally spend way more time in my home zone than any other so it seems pretty decent to me.
Just like every other powerful flavour buff that only works outdoors. Revendreth is full of tantalizing buffs that don’t work in dungeons or nath. It’s a balance thing. Otherwise you would gave raiders spawn camping the rares and vendors like songflowers in classic.
It could be detuned to something (EG ~.5 to 1% or less influence on damage/healing output) and be useful in more than a small fraction of the game though. At the very least it should work in all of Shadowlands outdoor otherwise IMO
