Who does benefit from all this? Even if you’re not a min/maxer, you’ll still be declined from groups. And it’s still not a fun system that’s going to be enjoyable for anyone. If there was a legitimate reason that would lead to the game actually being fun to play because of the covenants being locked, I could see the point. It’s pretty obvious that the devs are just trying to control the top players again. Do you really want the game to be worse for so many people, just because the top players will abuse the system? Do you want the game to continue to be designed around the 1%?
