it’s funny all the people in here acting like it ain’t a problem in here you have to just be straight trolling lol. everyone knows it is and just another failed system couple with there failed balance in general by not even really trying anymore makes it even worse welcome to the worst expansion ever by far and say what you will about wod they had less of a player drop with the whole flying thing than shadowlands did so fast and yet they still don’t get it. what your putting out nearly half the playerbase don’t want and wait til august rolls around and like no one is playing by then.
As relates to covenants. If they were only cosmetic, there would be no power difference.
You mean the wrong make and model?
Again, Blizzard makes balance promises with all Expansions and, as usual, there are blatant imbalances afterwards. Placing the blame on Covenants is empty, since there would’ve been imbalances regardless and to say ‘the Covenants made them worse’ is just a moot point.
There would still be a power difference.
Why do you people keep thinking balance can be achieved in an RPG?
Please explain how choosing different cosmetics creates a power difference.
Because the specs themselves would still be imbalanced. Covenants are irrelevant. People looking to blame something else for their shortcomings will always find it,.
I guess you just don’t want to bother reading what I wrote then. I specifically said the covenants should have been only cosmetic, and therefore cause no power difference.
And you ignored what I said in that it wouldn’t matter anyway because you’d find something else to whine about.
You’re a troll. A respec is available to every player with the click of a button.
And you can swap to any Covenant your guide tells you to take before hand. Again, keep looking for those excuses for your own shortcomings.
I’m not whining about anything. You ignored my specific point and don’t seem to comprehend how to only discuss one topic.
Is it really “a sad state” that there are a lot of people who enjoy playing the game but don’t feel like spending hundreds of hours and unlimited resources acquiring and testing everything in the game only to duplicate information that is available for free online?
Even for causal is does matter. iE picking nerocold as a DH is bad, going with nerocold on druid bad. Is fact some class perform a lot better with the right conveant. It can make a sub par player to do good damage so that’s important
I did comprehend your point and it’s pretty irrelevant. Even if Covenants were cosmetic, there would still be imbalances and you would still come and whine about them.
Yes. Why do you even bother playing when someone else tells you what to do?
It’s like the people who used to buy the Brady Strategy Guides for a game WITH the game and read it before playing.
Are people that debilitated?
It’s pretty funny that the difference in boss dps of a venthyr holy pally and any other covenant of pally in M+ can have a difference of 5-10k. I started out playing as a necrolord paladin and could of removed vanquisher’s hammer from my bars and not noticed a thing. Then I go venthyr and suddenly I’m pulling dps levels of damage on bosses.
Covenants were a mistake.
Like Azerite armor.
Like Artifact power.
Borrowed power systems are a mistake, sounds like.
This thought process applies to more of the game than covenants.
The largest impact by far on your performance after skill is determined at the created creation screen.
Compared to harassing them to pick what you want? Is that it? Players can’t pick what they want–they have to pick what I want?
