Counter WW Monks

looking for suggestions on how to counter monks. having difficulty keeping distance with everything in their kit. Even a lower geared monk can cause me problems. Or should I just accept my fate and set up shop at the GY. thx

Make sure you always have concision shot on them and using cobra shot to add time on to the slow.

Try and stun them and use masters call if you can so you can start to get distance to kite. Post haste is great too. Even Frost trap if you can to buy time to create distance. Eventually you you will be able to get distance enough to really kite.

Try to kite max distance, I use hi-explosive trap for a pvp talent so I can get me distance if they get close, use your freezing trap on cd when he is close and pet stun him off cool down. I also have binding shot to root them

1v1 goes differently depending on whether it’s a duel with flag boundary or just opposite faction where you have unlimited reach.

Play binding shot, freedom pet, survival tactics, RoS, and knock trap

Duel:
You start maxrange in camo and open with the intent of chipping away fleshcraft, don’t commit anything.
This will force either roll or FSK, you can counter roll with disengage but if he FSK’s I’ve found it best to allow him on top of you. From there you can try and pre-trap (works really well with nelf). If he sweeps you wait for images then trinket → trap.
At the same time you should be placing either a binding shot and kiting, or knock → binding shot and then kiting. From there it’s just about rotating CDs properly and kiting/trapping. Feign death on the SCK procs and if you can’t, better to turtle it before he stuns you and does it again.

Open world is alot easier, play posthaste here.
Start maxrange in camo with a slow, if he rolls match it with disengage and if he FSKs stun it. After that they won’t be able to catch you and will just flop.

Edit: Just refined this strategy, you stun the FSK and throw a knocktrap if he doesn’t trinket. Then if you time disengages right the rolls won’t be enough to get into incap range and it’ll either be karma pet, trinket stun, or lose.
