Classic players do think they are better while they struggle in easy raids, for example if one were to look at your logs. I’m sure if you keep trying you can do better! I wish you the best of luck!

i think it would be neat if it was same server RDF, so i could see more players from my server maybe see a guy i did a quest with back at level 50 or something imagine how awesome that would be because right now you feel pretty isolated in your guild don’t want to deal with LFM’ing. but having cross server RDF even for servers with healthy population for the sake of the few poor bastards on dead servers?..is that really what the playerbase wants?

Blizzard isn’t going to spend a bunch of money to enhance the capacity of servers when this level of demand falls off a cliff in a relatively short time. It is easier and cheaper to offer transfers than to invest money in more hardware.

I’ve enjoyed parts of classic, it was fun. But as you are shown everyone it has a terrible community that you have to work around.
Not in any way shape or form. I said that if people transferred to overburdened servers, they deserve what they get for putting themselves knowingly into a bad situation.

I agree, it would be a nice tool even if it was same server matching, Though at the same time the low pop server issue would render it useless to them and perpetuate the same issue we currently face.
And yeah, that’s the big ticket right there. I’m no idiot, I know what retail turned into, but at the same time this game isn’t the same even in classic as it was back in the actual days of wrath, people just don’t play this game the same way anymore.
If there’s a way to salvage it for more people than it ruins it, that might have to be the choice.
People can be mad about RDF but can choose to not use it, same as now. But for everyone else having the option might actually keep them in the game.
It’s not a panacea, but it would certainly help a lot of the crowding if some of the reason for it was gone.
server communities can be absolutely amazing and way better than retail nonexistent communities

if you’re on a PVE server lmao well there’s probably some exceptions even PVP players probably have great memories with other players

I guess I could have went afk and got boosted like a lot of the classic community, does that make it better? Or bought gold and got boosted with gdkp runs! The true classic experience.

but instead give the members the opportunity to showcase their advocacy. I wasn’t sold on the implementation and Blizzard has proven that the council is indeed for the optics.

This notion that there is zero community over on Retail is a myth. Just as much of a myth as the notion that Classic servers care so deeply about “community.”
