The fix isn’t going in until tuesday

And then at 5pm they updated again:
"Update – 5:20 p.m. PST February 5
We have been reading your thoughts on the Corruption changes and have decided to hold them for regional restarts next week. We understand the impact they will make on your gear selection and agree that it makes more sense to do it at the start of a week."

I love the corruption system! I’ve always wanted to deal with cursed items in WoW and this is the best.
Yeah, there will always have to be tweaks, maybe. But this is the best idea you’ve had in years.
Sledgehammering should happen during testing so the scalpel can be used in live for the unforeseen issues. It baffles me how little it seems they do during the testing phase when it comes to fixing things like this.

Corruption, the cloak-upgrade and the grinding to obtain the vessels to do the run- which you may fail. to get the upgrade … all is a mess. Totally not fun!

Get better corruption resistance.
really miss class set. I’m guessing you folks stopped doing it because you didn’t want to spend money in the design, art, and implementation, but it was mounds better than this mess.

It makes sense to nerf everything we can’t have to much fun now can we ? Never mind that MMOs like this are a Power fantasy and the goal is to feel strong . That’s blizzard for ya though "oh that’s fun and it puts up big numbers ? Nah we can’t have that ". Lol
Thing from Beyond does too much damage IMO. It absolutely makes sense for the 60 tier to be deadly, but that 40 tier is a bit much.
Perhaps the bigger issue is the proc rate of TfB seems to scale with your haste or something, idk. But I’ve gotten 5-6 procs in 2.5-3 minutes before on a 1 PPM ability. Put an ICD on it or something, it feels really annoying when these things chain proc back to back and just keep doing it.
Having an ICD on it would also help you know “ok, I’m safe for the next set of mechanics/whatever” instead of “oh, ok it’s just going to chain proc on me. Great.”

Why is it so hard for you guys to see players have fun??? did we not pay our subscriptions enough to you guys??? why can’t you just buff underperformed corruptions and let powerful corruptions continue makes our game play enjoyable?

Ouch i get a nerf but a whole heaping -50%?? Imo the problem is it’s hp based for both dps and tanks. Shouldn’t things get balanced by dps per point of corruption?? Gushing wound was and still will be like 50% better than void was but it as s lot easier to get 75 corruption off one piece this early than 8 pieces with gushing wound, but if you could that build would be 50% better and yet it’d like 200 dps per point vs 150 from void. I’m not gonna equip corruption for 75 dps and 5k self damage a point…
Nice i looted a 460 crit/haste ring with socket and t3 echoing void on it. It was my shiniest item.
hate the corruption gear period since can’t use without dying.
