Copy ESO's Housing system

if I were them, I’d be looking at all the best parts and then figuring out how to steal it and replicate it

Eso is cool but, stanced medieval the sims would be funnier.

No clue what that is. Is it on iPad or something?

No, because if they do that it starts to be mandatory. Keep it like swtor or ESO, just for looks and convenience. In Swtor, my apartment has my banks, legacy bank (which is like the warband system in wow now), my guild bank and my auction house (global trade network).

I hardly ever go to the fleet in swtor unless I want to just hang out and chat with people at the bar.

Appreciate you clearing that up. I have not played Sims since 2004? 2006?

Personally wasn’t a huge fan. I’d rather see what Blizzard can cook up themselves.

I really would prefer not to have even more items in bags because things like chairs drop randomly from mobs.

They need to have a warning tag when you walk into the housing area. This way we can have the ability to be creative without the PG13 rating kneecapping the system.

Definitely a no…that would basically make housing non-optional in most peoples’ minds.

^ Love this. I have never really been into playing house in mmos (not even in SWG when it was a big part since it was a sandbox mmo) but I really like New World’s housing. Tons of decoration for those who love that stuff but also the storage chests you can add so it increases your storage space and the trophies are awesome for the buffs they can give you.

Copy new worlds, make them limited space in cities, and have them require rent, or someone else moves in.

JK that’s awful. They should just do fallout 76 camps. Just have a pick up and go relocatable home. Sweats can live on the raid entrance, to players can live in grizzly hills.

Thank you for this, it looks really fun.

It wouldn’t really, if you read the rating it says it doesn’t apply to player interactions. Our house would fall under that umbrella much as it does in other MMOs (I have seen full on brothels and sex dungeons in Everquest 2.)

Housing options in most zones is completely nuts. Maybe over time they can add to more zones, but 0% chance housing launches with that.

Edit: I did not intend to reply to you, that was for the OP.

Houses need to be purely cosmetic. They do not need crafting stations, mailbox, etc to make cities dead.

We already have mailbox toys + the new Brutosaur has a mailbox too

Agreed re: ESO, I just really hope it’s not monetized as heavily :grimacing:
