Hello,
Cooldown manager is much better compared to live.
Here’s what I’m missing from cooldown manager compared to my current WeakAuras setup to completely replace it:
- Track triknet cooldowns along with ability cooldowns - I would like to be able to add my PVP trinket to Utility cooldowns next to Aspect of the Turtle, and my on-use PVP trinket next to Trueshot.
- Split Utility cooldowns to 2 groups which can be arranged separately. Having all utility cooldowns in one place is not practical, for example I’d like to have a group with defensive cooldowns only, so when I’m in trouble I can have a quick look and see what’s available.
- The “Tracked bars” / “Tracked buffs” feature offers too few buffs - just the throughput buffs which after pruning are too few (3-4 per spec). Please add more buffs (defensive, utility)
- very important The “Tracked bars” / “Tracked buffs” feature does not allow to add your debuffs on the enemy, only your buffs on yourself. For example, I’d like to add my most important debuffs on the enemy (Spotter’s mark) as Bars so I can clearly see how much time I have left for them.
- very minor In Essential/Utility cooldowns, add the Edit mode option to center last row icons. For example, if I use 7 columns and on the last row I have only 2 icons, I’d like to have them centered rather than left/right
- minor Utility cooldowns: it’s really hard to order spells because the edit mode UI for utility cooldown always works with 7 columns, while you may have configured 5 or 6 columns in-game, so it’s difficult to guess which icon goes where. It would be ideal to have the Edit mode UI reflect the number of columns chosen in game so you have live preview of what goes where.
TLDR: the missing big features are tracking trinkets (in Essential/Utility cooldowns) and your spec’s core debuffs on the target (in Tracked buffs/bars)

Seconding this for tracking trinkets. I would like to add that having the ability to track consumables as well as some sort of class buff tracking through CD manager would be welcomed as well. As it currently stands a lot of people use class buff trackers to remind them to reapply buffs when people are combat rezzed or even just in general. There’s currently no way to see that without addons.

They have already promised to add some of your debuffs on enemies to the tracked buffs so you don’t need to look at nameplates; not implemented yet.
For editing, I would like consistency between cooldown bars and action bars, in customization, keybindings, and icon behaviors. You should be able to keybind abilities on the cooldown bars if you don’t want a second copy on your action bars, or disable the cooldown bars and use action bars (which can be split up and rearranged however you want) with all the same information.
Tracking all the correct class buffs will be an ongoing responsibility for the developers. Ideally there should be a search function for us to add any missing buffs and any external buffs we want to track.
Trinkets are a common request. It will also need to track potions. How about a third tab/bar/section for “Equipment and Consumables” that automatically finds all items you have equipped and in bags, with equipped trinkets tracked by default, but allowing you to add any potions it finds in your bags to the tracker? Consumable items like potions and flasks should also show the duration of the buff on you on the item icon, like some abilities now do on the cooldown bars.
Raid buff tracking is implemented in game via icons on party/raid frames. These are hidden in combat and it’s not easy to scan nameplates to see who is missing your buff. It should show the number of party/raid members who are missing your buff as a stack count on the icon of the buff ability. This could also be tracked as a buff applied to you for each ally missing your buff, so it appears in the tracked buffs bar after a battle res.

Combat potions as well, and I absolutely want to see the ability to break out of the “two bars” system and let us place discreet icons (or just create more bars - even 4 would be sufficient).

Not being able to add potions and trinkets is a big miss.
Missing features:
Track potions and trinket cds
Hide out of combat
Select if an icon displays while the ability is off cd or not
Fix buff bar and cooldown bars to grow from centre instead of buff icons having fixed locations where they appear
Be able to group, ungroup, move , and independently resize icons without needing an add-on.
A functional resource bar

Don’t forget some races have racial abilities you actually want to use and not macro into a different ability (Rocket Jump for example)
