To help promote some RP, we have a reliquary (artifact) event going! Tonight was the first of several;

“Following the Carnival of the Sun, an interesting discovery was made by the Silvermoon Reliquary through stories told by the Horde’s new Zandalari allies. Stories of a staff that could empower entire armies, rumored to be linked to an ancient troll artifact. An artifact of such power could be an incredible asset in this war, and as such the Thalassian army is commissioning a Reliquary expedition to discover this artifact. The expedition will begin its research in the Amani Catacombs of the Ghostlands, the last recorded location of the staff.”

The group caught up with Pathstalker and Reliquary Liasion in Tranquillien, Ghostlands. She briefed them on a staff located in the Amani Catacombs, an artifact said to have the power to bolster armies with its magic.

After finding scripture upon a wall, Jezzabelle helped to translate with some of the resources from the Reliquary; “-a Speaker Ru’thuroz - Amani Champion and Caretaker of the Blessed Staff of…” However, no more could be translated. Knowing they were in the right place to start, they pressed further into the Catacomb.

Ahead, after surviving a trap, they found a large skull-like statue embedded in an alcove in the center room, glinting slightly from the sunlight that was breaching through the ceiling above. Kelanor Dawnwarden, a Magister of Foreign Affairs with a history of finding artifacts, took the liberty of stepping forward. Managing to dodge the traps successfully, he found a statue that revealed a standard Amani-style stone carving. Though it seemed normal, one of the silver tusks appeared to be unstable compared to the other. With a quick warning to the group, Kelanor tugged on the loose tusk.

Instead of something big happening, as thought by the group, something was sticking out of the tusk itself. Kelanor pulled it out to reveal an old piece of parchment, or perhaps degraded. Nonetheless, the words inside were in Zandalai, the language of the Trolls.

‘Ru’thr-z … Ama-- … as’jie … --odsc–…’

That’s all that was legible. What they could manage was the name mentioned earlier by Miss Duskburn; Ru’thuroz.

However, they encountered a few spirits after the statue was disturbed. Thankfully, they were quick and easy to take down, allowing the group to search the catacombs.

Thank you to: Shara Leafheart, Jezzabelle Duskburn, Myrolorin Dawnblade, Kelanor Dawnwarden, Penthe

Are you guys still active? Because this looks like a place I’d like to be in, and help bridge relationships between guilds.
