That’s not what I consider Blood Elf Fantasy.
It might be Magister Fantasy but Farstriders and Blood Knights exist.
tbf I really don’t see how the Light isn’t regal and pompous. It’s bright gold and demands everyone does what it says. Rezan, Loa of Kings was essentially a Light demigod.
Think that this is what Blizzard wants their fantasy to be.
Blood Elf men deserve customizations too.

More class fantasy that is race specific would be a welcomed thing.
You get to put a Live Laugh Love ornament on the rump of your Hawkstrider.
I’m still failing to see how the Light doesn’t fit that fantasy. Blood elf colours are black, red and gold. You know what else is gold?
Which is why I said that men may also get it.
gold =/= light all the time. It’s fine if they got gold jewelery.
I don’t want jewelry on my man because he’s a man not a woman. It would trigger my gender dysphoria.
But it does fit with their aesthetic and with the way we’ve seen blood elf culture changing over time to be more Light-centric.

They could do what they did with Vulpera and have us discover new flavor skins for the racial. I think that would be fantastic.
Besides everything else that has been recycled through this thread, I’d also really like some changes to Entropic Embrace because right now it’s hideous. The fact that its effect doesn’t go through gear makes it even worse. I’d appreciate a much lighter effect around our character, or maybe have us turn transparent instead (why does everything void gotta be ugly purple blizz cmon).
More face options for them both, I get that elves aren’t human, but they’re humanlike enough to appreciate similar diversity that humans got (through face options at least) Warcraft movie did it right!

Personally, not a fan of the bracelets. But I think the armbands, necklaces and some of the new earring options are pretty great, and the old body jewelry fit nicely with them.
But the jewelry deserves more colors than just gold/silver. Maybe a lighter gold, bronze, copper and some alternative gems (sapphires and diamonds instead of emeralds and rubies) would be nice.

No they aren’t, the Farstriders, Magisters and Illidari are all strong strands of their culture too. However, we’ve seen things like Liadrin preaching to receptive crowds of blood elves and Lorthemar directly mentioning the Light in one of his farewell quotes.

They have one sub group of paladins, one paladin major npc. The rest are either magisters, Farstriders, and what ever that artifact group’s name the one that seeks ancient relics to use as weapons of war. To say BE is a super holy race is to say humans and dwarves are super holy races and they are not.

i wonder what made them decide that belfs were jewelry fans. gems, crystals and ores have never been a big belf thing. but they have been a huge style for draenei.
