Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

I wouldn’t mind the purples velfs have for belfs, and some pink!

Thormus… While I support sub-races, I don’t think void elves should be over taken with HE for it. I think we had this discussion before.

I mean while people act like void elves are entitled to skip the queue for AR customisations and clog up every discussion about blood elf requests with velf requests it was sort of inevitable.

Exactly. Its a big difference and that blizzard thinks Calia makes sense shows a big disconnect with Forsaken players I think.

Mine is dealing with still being Holy. Getting burned with pain whenever she uses it, but she sees it as the ultimate middle finger to the Scarlet Crusade, who claim the Forsaken are lost to the Light.

I know, helfer spam is insane. But still, nightborne legit have three hairstyles and that’s it D: and don’t get me started on how some of the player models could use a fix. But that would be asking a lot I guess.

Right there with you. Nightborne are the only knife ear race I don’t want wiped from Azeroth and they got none of the attention they needed.

I was really considering a nbelf priest for SLs at one point. I cri

What’s more realistic to happen at this point? I wanted High Elves as their own standalone race but i don’t see that happening with them beginning to add High Elf Customization to Void Elves.

Gonna admit it, the only elf I want to see as a paladin is belves. Let’s keep it that way. Just as Night Elves are the only druids. The horde equivalency is paladin elves.

Like the last discussion, half elves is an option, multi-racial lf is an option. Void elves is too direct to allow high elves to be a thing for them.

The customization is to allow ppl to RP clsoer to alleria, it is similar to how I would like to RP closer to turalyon with my pally as a LF human.

I don’t think high elves will be their own race at this point. It makes me sad, but it is what it is.

I would like Void Elves and High Elves to unify under Alleria’s banner myself with her being the primary leader of both races while Umbric and Vereesa would be the secondary leaders of their own respective groups. This would reinforce that Void Elves are the primary race but this would be a more organic way to integrate High Elves into Void Elves, which could open the door for more class options that wouldn’t be viable for Void Elves alone. Other races could benefit from these subrace options as well.

I also feel like having both groups together would help fill in gaps where one or both races may be lacking.

It would be kinda lame to see all high elves embrace the void though, I’d prefer if the story shown individuality a bit and diverse, like joining the army of the light etc.

But they wouldn’t in this case, it would simply be a reunification of sorts as opposed to physiologically changing via the Void. The High Elves would remain as they are, with the ability to use the Light intact for example, so they would indeed be diverse on a physiological and cultural level, but would be two races playable under one option being High Elves as a subrace for Void Elves and gaining access to legitimate Paladins in the process, while from a lore perspective they’d be two peoples unified under Alleria’s leadership.

The weird ghostly Void purple available in the PTR?

It would be better if both velves and belves get that NPC purple.

problem is, no paladin should use the “void” or be a void creature, and the void elves is very direct of a name. The high elves would need a standalone race to be playable rightly, as paladins no doubt.

That insult won’t hold much weight once we can have small ears

And High Elves aren’t likely to implemented as a standalone race any time soon, so folding them into a subrace, bringing a class or two to the table with new cosmetics is the next best thing, which other races would have a similar dynamic as well. Especially for the sake of reducing the amount of redundant ARs where as both a race and subrace would benefit far more drawing on a much larger pool of customization options as opposed to the 3-6 options most ARs have to draw on, when they ought to have been added as customization options(subraces) in the first place.

This would enhance an original race as well as offer a more streamlined method of adding representation for favorites of the playerbase while avoiding redundancy in ARs.
