Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

Can we get an F in chat for the Nightborne? Seriously, the one race of elves I don’t find DISGUSTING and they’re such a bad playable race.

Meanwhile, on PSO2:

the sunwell pokes a huge hole in any argument regarding belfs and the light. they might not have started out that way, but they are now. a naaru guaranteed it.

They are vain in apperance.

sunwell is not 100% light and there culture does not reflect this.

All races have jewelry. It’s part of everyone’s culture. Tauren have feathers, furs and leather jewelry. Gnomes got crystals and gears. Each race has its own style. The important part is that, style. Blood elf jewelry is blood elven first and foremost, and they have always been regal.

I think it’s nice. But it doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be cool to get scars and tattoos.

Points to his guild name.

i dont think the whole vanity angle fits them anymore either. they were nearly exterminated by arthas, were forced to make allegiances with races and societies that were totally different than themselves, and as a result are, i think, hardier and more serious. well as serious as a wow race can be

A shown at Suramar they’re also potentially a major chunk of their ground forces, which makes sense since they’re the former Royal Guard.

I’m afraid that you are right about the jewelry, and that makes me sad. :sob: :elf:

We’re not but obviously the ones working on customization’s for them are.

Agreed. There was a twitter post from a Blizzard employee who said that the golden eyes were based on the individual’s involvement with the light, and it’s mostly a priest/paladin thing. So I don’t really like light being pushed on all of the other classes. I believe that all types of magic should be represented

it didnt reflect it, but it does now. is the point. a farstrider tat could infuse with light just as their eyes do. remember, thats a naaru’s light in the sunwell. its a big deal.

Night elves still have about 107 times more combinations than tauren, and at least the list on the old thread you didn’t label it as quantity, but it’s presented as quality.

Tauren are good numbers wise, but a lot of it is really underwhelming. a few bang options, a small number of eye colors apparently without the option to have scarred eyes like a lot of other races got. Fur color and hair color is tied together so you don’t have that option either.

Personally I doubt their correct. And hopefully Blizzard listens to BE fans on BE customization the same way they’ve listened to Alliance HE fans.

That’s the problem with going off raw numbers. The orcish warpaints and tattoos aren’t theoretically mutually exclusive options but the warpaints entirely cover the tattoos so in practice you can have tattoos or you can have warpaint.

you need to make a tauren customization requests thread. add race adjacent customs like taunka and feltotem

Bloodtotem are already available to Highmountain arguably. The tribes were mostly separated by their warpaint and red warpaint is an option.

not in an amount that justifies them becoming “infused/forged”

well they wouldnt have the gold metal implants and forehead symbol, just a normal tat in a light gold color as an option. i think golden mana hair or sunlit mana hair, would look cool on them, similar to dark iron dwarf fiery hair but in thin strands and the light travels down the strand instead of flowing up

Separate Gem and Metal options for Jewelry would be pretty rocking TBH.

(Assuming the males get them too.)
