I hope they delay it until tomorrow so I can enjoy the rage posts all night.
If you post more than one rage topic you should be entitled to a free ticket to blizzard hq and they get to throw you in the server room and say ‘have at it chief’.

I dunno why don’t you tell me what else needs to be said? I can think of a couple things: Server data load for SSC is progressing slower than we anticipated.
TK Model flaw is preventing instance loading and we are resolving that issue before unlocking the content.
Just a tiny bit more info would be helpful right? I am thankful for the heads up as we have seen last minute delays with zero explanation before but you would think that some of these issues would have been anticipated by Blizzard Live Deployment teams before today. If all you have is “unforeseen circumstances” you are saying one of two things: We didn’t test for this eventuality, which is bad because mostly you should anticipate at least generally the cases that will extend maintenance and indicates at least tangentially incompetence on the part of the teams who are doing the deployment, OR you are saying we really just don’t care about what our customers think or how they feel, which is just a dismissal and eventually enough of those dismissals will result in lowered revenue. So which is it? Incompetence or Apathy?
It is my hope that it drives them to treat coworkers as professionals at all time! I will admit it was a distasteful joke driven out of frustration of the current state of our game.

I’m less concerned about the frequency of their communication than I am with the accuracy of it. I am fully expecting this 90 minute delay to turn into 3 hours pretty soon, because they have a history of communicating time estimates that are on par with a cable guy from the 90s.

Based on your above post demanding info that isnt required beyond the heads up itself. You are clearly one of the entitled.
This has me worried too. What if it does happen that we unlock 3 hours late instead of 90 minutes. 90 minutes late is already pushing raid schedules for a lot of folks. Twice that time would be just unworkable for a lot of raid teams mid week.
In that case, reschedule or miss out on a week.
Its not the end of the world for most of the community like everyone seems to think it is.

No, it’s not the end of the world, but it’s completely unneeded hassle and a missed week for no reason.
Release at reset like they have for the last 17 years.
I think you also may have issues with reading comprehension. You will be so kind as to go back and REREAD my original reply to Kaivax and you will then understand that at no time did I DEMAND anything. I did request. That of course is all that I can do.
