For the past few days I will get disconnected right after loading into the game or while in the middle of the loading screen. It seemed to clear up for a couple days but has come back. The battle net app also will randomly disconnect and reconnect. The error it gives me is the generic WOW51900319. I have tried everything and don’t really know where to go from here. HELP!
Hi Cutiekaboom
Let’s see if anything shows up on a WinMTR test:
The instructions are on this Blizzard Support page:
Once you have the tool open enter the IP number for the server group you play on in the WinMTR box then hit start.
24.105.62.129 (Central - Chicago)
(include periods)
Leave it run for 5 minutes or so. Doesn’t matter if you are playing or not. Then use the button that copies Text to your clipboard. Paste that on your thread here.
*You may need to alter or remove any URL addresses to paste on forum. You could also place the test results in a code block:
Open chat box - paste test then right click - “select all”. Should highlight everything. Then press the preformatted text button along top of chat box. Looks like this </>.

Nothing stands out there. WinMTR looks normal. As a test try the standard UI reset:
As I mentioned this is a test. If it doesn’t help simply remove the OLD from your original folders then delete the new folders the game installed. This will return your original settings
Sadly this did not help. The battle net app even reset itself around four times during the process.
When the App resets do you always disconnect from the game? What Antivirus are you running there?
Reset might of been a bad word to use. the app itself does not close and reload but disconnects and reconnects and when that happens I do disconnect in game. however not all my disconnects in game are due to the app disconnecting and reconnecting. I think the issue is with my modem, last night I had it turned off for about 12 or so hours and when i turned it back on after getting home from work I was able to play without any disconnects for a little over an hour before the disconnects started happening again.
Run the WinMTR on desktop while you play. After a disconnect paste the results.
Let’s run a quick Malware scan next. I like this stand alone scanner from Malwarebytes.
When the scan is finished a button labeled “Run Basic Repair” will appear on the tool. Click that.
Quarantine anything it finds. Paste the log.
This was after about 5 minutes of play(much better than my normal disconnect at character creation)

Hmm. Bit of a mystery here - let’s take a look at a DXDiag system report:
The second section of page has DXDiag report instructions - we don’t require the MSinfo report.
That will be a wall of text. If you have issues pasting on the Forum here go ahead and put it up on pastebin.com. Provide the link code portion of the URL - example below.

I was looking to see if there are any recent updates for your network adapters. Looks like everything is Win 7.
The Router you have there - looks like a Hitron. That should have a small recessed button you would press with a pin or pen tip. Try pressing that then hold down for 30 seconds. Resets the device to factory defaults.
I will link the Wow disconnect page here to work through:
Expand the Advanced Troubleshooting section as well.
So after resetting my router to factory defaults I was able to play for a solid 10 minutes without any disconnections. I will test more tomorrow when i actually have time to play. Thank you so much for all your help.
I’ll watch this thread for updates.
So I have been able to have multiple game sessions with no disconnections I would consider this issue solved. Thank you again.
Good to see - thanks for reporting back.
