Look at the recent signs of implementing 1 button rotation, the removal of third party addons…it’s gonna happen sometime in the future since it’s already somewhat possible on handheld devices and you can play with a controller.

I don’t think console players would want something extremely dumbed down even if it were to happen.

Sure, give couch blobs a game with the extreme caveat that if they get want to participate in anything even remotely difficult, they’re gonna require a keyboard & mouse or get very good at memorizing 40 different button chords.
