Considering Some Semi-weekly World Quests Becoming Daily

How about this?

Daily WQs, but some are marked with the silver dragon every three days. only silver dragon WQs give rep, non-silver WQs give raw crafting materials and gold.

There. Daily WQs for those who want dailies with a small non-power reward, biweekly WQs with rep for those who don’t want dailies

Everyone wins

I’m actually shocked Blizzard listened to the majority, ngl and within hours at that.

So because some people wouldn’t enjoy it those who would shouldn’t have it? Is that your argument?

I hope to god they can design something that both sides can agree on and I am sick of this BS already.

Hey y’all it’s Rita so what did you decide? Are you going to do daily, every 2 days, or every 3.5 days? Thank

You should cancel yours too! Then you wouldn’t have FOMO.

This is disappointing, I was hoping for more refreshes to the WQs where I wasn’t staring at the same gear I’ve already got a better piece than in multiple WQs, or the way older systems didn’t feel as bad to skip an annoying or bugged WQ since it wouldn’t be staring at me for half a week if I didn’t do it.

If you’re going to rely on the other activities to make up for world quests, make sure there’s the variety that WQ offer in them. And really, something needs to be done about how they work, they have a really long timer and can be finished extremely quickly as well which makes it harder for people to participate in those events.

I just really don’t get the lowering of the rate of WQs which have a decent variety of activities, Like the one to fly through bugs was a nice change of pace) in order to protect crafters, but the really tedious options like repetitive farming of chests and such are just fine? Plus if you don’t want to just spend your time randomly flying, more frequent changes of WQ are a good way to point people towards different areas of the world.

I do think as mentioned above that map markers for the daily rares would help some with this, but really would like more of the out of the ordinary objectives we get in WQs to be repeatable in some form and not just kill quests. That and put the timers in game, the world events at least so far are spread out enough in time that it would help to know when something is happening since at least right now if you aren’t there when it starts there’s a good chance of missing it completely.

Sentences like these always sound so pretty on paper, but they hardly reflect the reality in a raiding environment.

Sure you did.

This is actually a great idea.

Super late to respond but Primal Invasions hit live servers when raids/m+/rated pvp do.

I absolutely love this idea tbh. Alternatively just have worldquests give rep every 3 days in general, and have the icons on the map reflect as such.

Gonna just respond to it in hopes it increases visibility for Blizz.

So not only is this a stupid decision, but with a stupid excuse that I hope is a lie because it’d look WAY worse if it was literally the reason. Uninstalled, unfollowed, bye.

I hope 10.0.5 will have some happy notes to it.

How would it look worse if it’s what the majority of players are wanting? You are in the minority with this decision.
Imagine uninstalling over >WORLD QUESTS< lmao. There will be more open-world content in a week, chill out.

So what would be something worth uninstalling over for you then? Just curious. What could Blizzard change that would make you want to uninstall? Limiting Mythic+ to one key a week regardless if you got loot or not? One piece of loot per raid?

you guys are joking right to clearly don’t listen to the majority the major problem you have right now is there isn’t alot to do and it would be nice if you just went and made world quests reset daily like back in bfa so we can have some extra stuff to do. Like come on blizz talk about going backwards and failing hard when you were just about to do something good.

look through the thread and check out the number of one post wonders - you have people liking and making posts in opposition to this on multiple alts.

I guess if blizzard is going to be silly enough to go by likes - everyone should be doing the same as well. I could get all three accounts going and that would give me 80 likes by myself - you get 10 people doing that, it sure changes the ratio.

You have any evidence for this, or just a hunch?

you have 6 posts - I am betting you made other posts in this thread in opposition to this just like many of the other one post wonders. Inflating who is the ‘majority’ by posting on alts isn’t a true majority.

I could find evidence if I looked but I can’t be bothered. Any time you have people with one post characters participating in threads like this you can guarantee they also posted on other characters (I have checked these enough in past).

Well, you’re not going to convince many people without evidence.
