Not sure how much feedback you were considering before making this change because I definitely don’t like it.
I was glad to finally have an expansion where a significant portion of my time wasn’t spent each day doing world quests. Having them up for a few days meant I could do other things and not feel rushed to get them done. I could do a zone or two one day and the same thing the next day. I thought it was really nice. So I’m disappointed to see after just a week into the expansion it seems that will no longer be the case.

Luckily, there are addons for that.
World Quest are what is in between your drivers seat and the console…
Just put back in regular daily blue exclamation marks and keep the simple token system for grinding out mobs for rep.
Stop with the World Quest mess…
This “checklist” mentality is made up you can do whatever you want at any ANY given time let people have options and not be selfish about it!

I was looking forward to playing more alts than I had in the previous expacs but won’t be with this change. It’s the first strike against the expac in my eyes and will result in me playing less.

Correct, I don’t consider proffs to be content in the same way open world content is. I’ve never much liked proffs enough to bother with them aside from maxing it out quickly and then making pots for M+/raid and done.

I am torn on this. On one hand I liked being able to get them all done at once, but on the other hand I like quests in any form and more will always be better. Guess I will see how it plays out.
You’ve been posting all day and are working towards 7k posts. Please take your own advice or don’t talk down to people like you. It’s very hypocritical.

If Blizzard had just made the renown account wide they wouldn’t of even had to make this World Quest change in the first place as some people won’t be upset about it now.
If only these same people that are now complaining would have helped those advocating for renown being account wide, instead they fought against it and now this is where we are at.

this is such a bad decision; somebody please give me literally 1 good reason we need daily WQ? I have stuff to do at work all day, last thing i need is to do all these WQ that are going to change every single day, nobody likes the WOW FOMO

I wished that the rep for them would have been increased instead of always feeling like clearing the WQs is a burden vs being able to clear them and then do other things. It’s been noted already but I agree with the quote below:

Why do you need to do them? Lol

How will their reputation rewards function? Will they remain the same and require only 2 completions to get the same reputation as before?
To help our alts gain renown since it’s not account wide.
Uh, guys, for the people who say they feel the need to do every WQ… why? There is no competitive/player power reward for this renown except a crafting reagent at the very end.
Yeah, I mean, that’s why I liked the semi-weekly quests. Log in twice a week and hammer it all out, plenty of time to touch grass. The grass misses us.

There is gear offered by the rep vendors that are really good pieces if you get them early enough. Also, the more rep, the more recipes you can learn, which in turn means the higher ilvl armor you can make. So yes, in a way, there IS player power tied to rep, just in a different way than in BFA, SL.

Wha? The Semi-Weekly quests are the best. It meant I didn’t have to log in every day or miss something. If the complaint is that they aren’t giving enough rep, then just increase the rep for them. Not make them every day.

I’d rather they are semi-weekly. It will now feel like a chore to do them every day instead of enjoying the other parts of the expansion. Yes it’s optional, but it’s the perception of them that kinda ruins it. What’s the point of having WQ and Dailies now?
