Once again another person doesn’t grasp that people play the games for different reasons. the people wanting WQs don’t give a damn about M+ opening
But here’s the between between us and you. We don’t go to the forums to cry to Blizzard that “Wahhh, M+ gives way too good gear I feel pressured to do it, it’s basically mandatory. Remove this oh my god! I want to just log off and play another game!”
We accept we aren’t the audience for it and JUST DON’T DO IT and stick to our content instead
Boo. I was happy about the change. Everything in the game shouldn’t be a “mini game” while raiding and dungeons are “the real game”. Let reppers spend their time doing that. Let them have something to show for it instead of “well everyone gets it by casually logging in every few days”. C’mon man.
This game has a major problem with revolving around one type of player while pretending it’s catering to many types. Those many types are all just patronized. This was a good change. Hope you guys reconsider and continue forward with actual daily reps.
I don’t post here often because the forums kinda stink, but THANK YOU! I work 45 hours a week. I barely have time to spend with my wonderful wife and dog, let alone dedicate to WoW. This expansion is doing a great job of helping me not feel forced to do things and this change would have seriously effected me.
This feels like I’m being told to take my money and go elsewhere. I play near daily because I have health issues that keep me in the house. I don’t pay $15 a month to play 2 days a week, and with this being the way it is, I’m starting to feel it’s wasted money. A handful of dailies from the centaur don’t make up for lack of dozens of WQs each day to do.
I don’t PvP and I’m not a fan of dungeons if I can avoid them. I’ve done the side quests and campaign on a single character already, so have no use for doing that again to level. Lack of WQs slows the leveling speed of a non-grouping player considerably, because they do not give more experience to make up for being only twice weekly.
Why are fixing what wasn’t broke to begin with. There was nothing wrong with daily world quests, if I had it my way there would still be 3 emissaries as well.
Don’t seem to have a whole lot of people who want WQs in this thread though.
So just put them on the trainer.
If you just didn’t want to farm plans at all, you should have said so.
I just want common sense recipe farming. If I’m doing PvP to get the PvP gear recipe, I just expect the game to give me my profession’s PvP gear recipes. Not random Leatherworking patterns.
Or maybe some players should just get over their own egos and not worry about someone being ahead of them in a video game. Particularly in a genre that is suppose to reward you for time played.
See Blizzard the storm is coming and this player isn’t the only one who feels this way I also feel this way as do so many alone in this very thread when the hurricane hits it is going to hit hard.
Here’s the thing about this. It’s selfish. I get how someone like this is excited about the limitations Blizz has in place. But why do they feel entitled to the best of a rep grind? Why shouldn’t someone who is able and willing to put more time into the game be able to get rewarded for that. We’re not talking the vanilla honor system here.
Is the goal of WoW to give everyone everything by just logging in? Is that the bar now? But raiders get exempt again from this? Come on…
Let’s get the dailies going, give rep players a game to play. Stop catering to the raiders and dungeon players by making the rest of the game a “log in a couple times a week mini game”.
There is nothing wrong with not having everything in the game. When did we forget that?
