Yet those quests already exist in the code/database. Just like the raid and M+/PvP seasons already exist in the game files, yet are currently inaccessible.
To me this looks like blizzard tried to see if wow players were capable of finding stuff to do without being explicitly told “hey, this thing’s over there, go do that”, and a surprising amount failed.

So which is it?
Do people hate timegating?
Or are we timegating world quest?
Please no. Bi-weekly was perfect. If anything what people wanted was for these WQs to give more rep, please don’t make them a daily chore/FOMO deal again.

If you are a casual player, you likely wouldn’t be doing these daily even after they are turned into dailies. This doesn’t hurt you, or anyone, at all. This is simply an option for people who want to do them daily, seeing as they don’t really provide much benefit other than cosmetic rewards. If people want to complain about the gear that is provided later on in the renown tree, that gear won’t be relevant in a couple of weeks anyways.
Strictly a good change, thanks Blizz! I’ll keep a look out for any complainers that make any sense, but so far they haven’t.
Having these quests moved to daily does not remove the ability to do the side content. This angle is weird and doesn’t make sense.
Huh? Why would doing fewer WQs than max prevent you from doing the campaign story?
some people don’t have the choice of picking their work hours.

I don’t like it. I don’t want more daily chores.
“Then don’t do it”. But semi-weekly chores are better than daily ones, so I don’t like this change.

You need renown to unlock more of the campaign at 70.
I’ve done 3 world quests since the expansion launched because the rewards are things I don’t want, because I only unlocked adventure mode on Friday, and because they only reset every 3.5 days.
Three. That’s pitiful.
With open quests respawning much faster, I’ll be able to actually play the world quests I want that have rewards I care about or activities I want to engage in.

Kind of disappointing to see you walk back the 3 day wq attitude that was a talking point and selling point for not feeling the grind, especially for alts. What warranted this quick backpedal versus letting those reps get progressed through other forms?

People rushed to finish everything and logged off haha

“They reset daily so I HAVE TO DO THEM daily” is the dumbest, most addict-brained thing I’ve seen yet.

Likely a lot of people logging off during launch week.

Only because of side quests/early quests. After all that dries up, your left with age long grinds.
There’s a huge list of daily to-do things, already.
We don’t need more world quests added on top of that.
If people are too clueless to realize all the things to do in Dragonflight, maybe Blizzard should work on that, instead.

This is not a good change. Sure, there’s not as much to do now, but that’s because it’s week 1 of the expansion.
It felt like bi-weekly respected our time as players, but daily is forcing you to keep a hawk eye on everything or miss stuff. Especially bad for anyone who’d want to keep an alt up. Please, please revert this once the raids open back up, or just don’t go through with it at all. The rewards on existing WQs could be buffed if that was the concern behind having WQs be daily.

It’s entirely the result of blizzard not including a daily/weekly checklist in game anymore. We had one for the past 3 expansions, and players got so used to relying on that being there they forgot how to find things in the world.
