Consequences Of Moving to 20 Mans

:+1:

We successfully merged but it’s a coin flip, “letting it ride” when going to 40 man is a tough sell. Not sure how viable 40 mans are.

Personally, it is enhancing my experience a lot. Two main reasons:

  1. We no longer need to split our guild into two. Now all of us clowns get to raid together

  2. Raid management is much easier for the GM because all specs are covered and he does not need to try to balance specs and player ability between two raids

Going to 20 man effectively killed my server. Should have stayed 10 man permanently.

It 100% should have stayed 10 man or they should’ve doubled the drop amount. My greedy ex guild leader just became more of a loot goblin taking everything for himself when there is twice the people now.

20man has very much brought a change thinking for most raids. I went from playing a spec I enjoy, even if it wasn’t top preforming, to now being forced to play the meta spec cause someone did 3k on a boss. No one really cared in BFD and Gnomer. Now the elitism is kicking in and it’s ramping up.
It’s only a couple weeks in and I’m finding myself thinking of quiting rather than trying to find another guild that doesn’t care what spec i want to play as. And if pugging is going to be worse cause 20man then I don’t want to sit in LFG spamming to find a group or make one for hours on end.
