Can definitely read, I just played the game and didn’t follow any blue posts before obtaining the weapon achievement, bad luck I guess.
It’s not a weird comment. If you care enough about something, you know about it. As a “long time pvper” it’s baffling they didn’t know.
When someone shows up to vote in November and they still think Biden is on the ballot because they weren’t interested enough to follow the news… is that the U.S. government’s fault? Definitely not. Sucks to suck. Go next.
Most people who play wow arent sweaty enough to check wowhead. Relax geek lol
Having the most minor, fundamental understanding of what is happening within the game you play is hardly “sweaty” lol
Use whatever ad hominems and excuses you need to justify complacency. Too bad, so sad.
It’s interesting, because stating being a ‘long time pvper’, was to point out, this is how I’ve always purchased my conquest weapon, right when you meet the requirements, you usually purchase it immediately, to gain that power boost. So its a bit unnatural to check mail for a token, if you didn’t see the blue post of course. Haha
It really is. Weapon is not locked to rating or anything. Some 1200 ret paladin just grinding conquest wouldnt know to check wowhead to see a change to a quest that disappeared and was turned into a hidden FoS. Its bad design by Blizzard to make their game changes known by checking a 3rd party site and not be told about the change in game.
If they are a 1200 ret paladin then the potential gear loss by wasting conq on a weapon is inconsequential. Go ahead and fire off the next made up victim scenario.
If they had kept the quest, and provided the tokens as the reward, that then released the hold on the weapons, that would have been good too. This is all from a risk management standpoint, to avoid traps like these that players will inevitably fall into, thats all.
What a weird thing to say. Its a terrible feeling for someone to grind all that conquest and then find out they wasted their currency.
Youre a miserable person tho griefgod so i get why youre acting hostile.
The information is available on the official Blizzard website though. You don’t have to check a third party website.
They couldn’t keep the quest because other people who don’t read (like you) picked up the quest AFTER they had earned their conquest caps and were set behind.
Most people arent checking anything outside the main game dude
Think you guys forget how big of nerds we are by even being on the wow forums.
That’s fine. “Most people” even those who don’t read the forums or wowhead, were unimpacted by this change.
Maybe they should’ve seen the weapons for a token and wondered “Hmm, I wonder what this token is right here”
But OP posted their complaint on the wow forums? By your logic, they should be a big enough nerd to check.
People didnt even know the quest existed lol
Actual skill/competence issue since the quest was, quite literally, on the conquest NPC.
It gets sent to your mailbox. Ive seen multiple people that finished the FoS asking where the token was, not knowing it went to the mailbox. Imagine if you didnt even know the token existed in the first place.
That you wouldnt even have known was there unless you had prior knowledge
Well, they could have, they decided not to. I don’t mind the achievement route, I think the token cost of the weapon should be on the vendor primarily, even without the token in your bags. That would solve all issues.
Wouldn’t happen. I have actual awareness unlike those complaining.
Important life lessons.
