i just hope whatever happens is completely separate & doesn’t affect M+. I’m happy with our system, but i think they need to have another look into the creation catalyst release times :100:

Didn’t they have bonus rolls in m+ too? More RNG for the bad luck “protection” is bad for anyone involved.

The timing of this is perfect. I think having a cap in the beginning is a good idea but I think it should be raised slightly. Specifically with valor, currently it sits at 750 a week. If raised to 800, it would allow for 2 pieces of cheaper armor to be upgraded. 875 would allow for say a chest and boots to be both upgraded in a week. Although I can see 875 being a bit too much. Either way I feel like 2 upgrades a week is a satisfying feeling.

are you even following the conversation? nobody is complaining about the amount of loot availability in M+. (although i think it would be nice to have a bonus roll for the great vault)

brewa pointed out that there’s really not enough loot spread out throughout the week via raiding - which is why i brought up bonus rolls would. would add more drops to people’s inventory, whether you like the system or not.

No they didnt. Only people incapable of understanding the implications to raiding wanted this.

Because raiding exists. You invalidate multiple levels of end game content.

Ask the raid community leaders what happened to reclears once valor was uncapped.

Its a necessary and predictable consequence with precedent.

Its so freaking obvious to anyone who actually does m+ and heroic raid pugging.

It was SO OBVIOUS that the raid queue went to almost nothing once valor was uncapped. Go ahead and use speculatory corrolation as some alterior reason for why this happened instead of the obvious reasons. Cause and effect is hard.

Solo players who dont have raid groups shouldnt be held back because your raid group can’t go get groups set up and do m+ for upgrades.
Also, you only get 2 pieces of gear a dungeon for a 30 minute high effort no mistakes environment? & a lot of the time the piece you want just doesnt drop.
cry me a river about your 8 minute heroic fight that you wanna farm until you get trinkets and class items that are better than most, if not all, the gear in M+.

^ It’s difficult to know where to begin with posts full of this much nonsense. On one hand, you admit that raid teams are expected to break up into groups and spends hours outside of raid just to be able to gear appropriately for raiding, but then you slip into a “but raid gear is so much better” statement that invalidates your first sentence (and also isn’t true). Good grief. :roll_eyes:

And then you try again. Which you can’t do with raids because you only get 1 shot a week. And that 2 pieces of gear for 5 players in a dungeon is twice what you get per-person in a raid setting, where it’s 4 pieces for 20 players or 6 pieces for 30. Do the math.

I don’t look forward to this. I guess if I want to play a 3rd character this season I better get started now.

Brewa will never be happy with what raiders get if M+ players are happy. In a certain sense, we need Brewa to whine because if Brewa is happy then raid gear is almost certainly too strong at that moment. A good compromise leaves Brewa unhappy.

Side-note : raiders thinking they deserve gear supremacy when raiding is the easier of the two is so laughable to me. Lol.

I think DF is the bests been on each side being reasonably as equally rewarding.

Each has their benefits and cons.

CE is still incredibly exclusive and difficult. We are at 44 guilds in the hall of fame last I checked a few days ago after 7 weeks which is very low.
