Conquest and Valor to Become Uncapped

The content i want to do IS mythic raid… so yeah… there goes that. I want people to be held back? Lol… no… i want my prefered game mode not to be gated harder than everything else, especially when the things that aren’t gated as hard are WAY EASIER AND WAY MORE REWARDING. What is hard to understand about that?

Yeah… i would “bother doing” mythic raids if they were accessible. Go look at the mythic raid queue… oh right… that’s not a thing. Im not choosing not to do mythic raids. I cant. Because its super inaccessible… try to understand the issue of accessability before replying. Also, how many concentrated primals can i get from the super gated content compared to the unlimited quantity from m+?

You idiots could at least realize that the very sentiment of “we want alts to be able to catch up quicker” is a flat out admission that m+ is easier and faster than anything else.

This is a garbage change. It has objectively negative consequences to the rest of the end game.

LETS GOOOOOOO! Let’s get that conquest bois!

I think uncapping valor is fine. They just need to show the same courtesy to uncapping the rest of the game’s content.

That’s awesome!

What about all the bugs tho? and horrible client performance? Is that also going to be fixed with the weekly reset the week of February 14?

“Up the loot chance to be that of raids…” ???

You already have BETTER ODDS in m+. Lol

Now I can do lower end baby keys and actually progress… Thank god. Sick of dealing with dumb people in 17-18’s… So many bricks.

Nothing. What’s hard to understand is why instead of complaining about the awful limitations on mythic raiding (no cross server until HoF is filled out), you choose to instead petition to make other players experience worse, which valor caps do.

The only people who enjoy valor caps are people who don’t like the content that valor comes from. That’s an objective fact.

We’re both on servers without healthy mythic raid populations. They do exist, you just need to be good enough to get into guilds or groups that run them, or you need to go to a server that does. While it’s not ideal, this is not the fault of M+, it’s the fault of Blizzard devs who refuse to budge on the accessibility of mythic raid.

You idiots could at least realize that the very sentiment of “we want alts to be able to catch up quicker” is a flat out admission that m+ is easier and faster than anything else.

You’re right, it is. So what? Why is it a bad thing that gearing up through M+ is easier than it is through exclusively raiding? It’s a complete joke to have this tribalistic “M+ vs raiding” mentality when they’re both content modes in the same game that you yourself have access to doing.

This is a garbage change. It has objectively negative consequences to the rest of the end game.

Tell me what the negative consequences are of people having higher gear. Do you think people are gonna spam M+ to upgrade their gear with valor and suddenly not come along on your heroic reclears anymore? Is it a positive consequence of the valor cap that people are forced to do content that they apparently wouldn’t do without the gear incentive?

I raid because I enjoy raiding, and I M+ because I enjoy M+ing. Gear is a means to an end, and any limitation on how fast we can get gear in a season = a bad thing. If you truly want to mythic raid, you should realize that being held back by ilvl is annoying, and you shouldn’t want these nonsensical barriers in place keeping people from having solid quality gear.

You, however, have chosen the extremely annoying perpetually online abrasive tactic of having to argue about everything that doesn’t benefit you specifically and demand that other forms of content be nerfed rather than yours being buffed.

Its pretty sad if this has to be done for a player to not to feel “being left behind”…
This is one of the most disgusting endgame systems you ever had and next to the catalyst system.

I miss when the game was less about babysitting the players to surely not to achieve any significant progress during the week and instead be fully dependent on the weekly garbage. Everything in this game is now WEEKLY for some reason. Why?

I miss when the game was actually designed for those who want to play and not for those who just want to find excuses why they dont. We are literally 1 step from making the game straight up kick you out of your character after getting an ilvl upgrade on each week…

This simply isnt true at all…

I said that it makes sense to uncap valor if raid lockouts are removed, mythic raids are opened, acquired raid gear is upgradable, and raid has a currency similar to valor.

Regarding the server thing, i’m simply not gonna subscribe to the idea that certain servers should have access to more content than other do. They inherently don’t, but the playerbase dictates that they do. But again, this limitation doesnt apply to m+ at all.

Edit: welp, looks like they just announced mythic raid cross realm opening at the same time as this.

They’re almost there.

Blizzard designed WoW from Vanilla-WoD to be based on rewarding based on the content being done, not by if you’re unemployed and can play all day.

The lone exception was the vanilla HWL grind that was promptly trashed.

Mythic+ has an uneasy balance with that due to the valor cap. Once it’s gone, they’re nothing stopping people from full 408-415 except time and willingness to grind all day.

Pug gear requirements skyrocket because it’s now an expectation to have high gear because it’s so easy to get.

We aren’t going to agree on this (which is fine).

No it’s not. I got a full set of upgradeable tier gear before the catalyst was released, straight from my vault because of M+. I have over 40 boss kills through normal and heroic and have yet to get a single drop that wasn’t for transmog.

The drop chance between m+ and raid is large enough to offset it.

The per-person drop rate in M+ is double that of raids already.

You keep spouting nonsense words to try and obscure the issue, but math is math.

And I’ll just keep repeating the actual math every time somebody tries to weasel out of it.

Except rating requirement? Why does everyone seem to conveniently skip this little, but ever so important detail?
Yes, you can get carried and then you will have the rating to upgrade, but at this point you can get carried in pretty much everything in this game, thats not new.

Valor system as it is, is fully useless during the intensive part of the season. They could literally make it non existent until feb 14 and I would barely feel the difference.

Ah and btw

After repeating this in myself a few times, ngl it sounds pretty sadistic.

Time invested vs loot vs chance much less finding the necessary key etc. it’s a dead horse people continue to beat as blizzard has addressed this.

More like enough people have left the game.

The rating requirements are pretty low until the 2400 one.

392 has no rating.

402 is 1000, which is like 7s…

Also the intensive/push part of the season is the end, not the beginning

This is EXACTLY what happened with sepulchur. No one was reclearing heroic anymore because the jailers loot was trash and you could just gear up from m+.

The content people enjoy being what matters instead of the rewards that come from them isnt the reality. People are driven by the rewards. Do you think people all farmed cobalt and obsidian because they enjoy that content or because the rewards were good? Why are there less groups doing those things now? Because the rewards are better elsewhere…

holy crap they are actually listening this expansion
